food was subpar at best. I ordered fried rice and chicken broccoli. The rice had no flavor and the chicken was undercooked. When I asked the workers for a refund, they said that I purposely did that. RUDE! I was eating there too, so its not like I took it home and messed it up. Suggestion, go to China Star restaurant. The staff are super friendly, and they give hugeee portions for cheap prices. Plus, its only down the street from Ocean Garden.

when the place first opened, we did not like it at all. after a couple of years we gave it another try and were really pleased with the quality and flavor. fried foods are less greasy than other options in winsted, the sauces are flavorful with tidbits of fruit & veg in them. delivery can be difficult/slow/frustrating because of the language barrier so if you can pick it up, do so. pupu platter for two is the bomb.

I have been to many different Chinese restaurants but I gotta say Ocean Garden truly is one of Winsteds hidden treasures. From the friendly and helpful staff to the freshly prepared food, fair and moderate prices not to mention the overall inviting atmosphere. You can tell this is a Chinese place done right. Every time I walk in its like stepping off the plane in Beijing.

Best chinese food around. When you get fried dumplings its obvious they made them there and didnt just fry them out of the freezer. No msg used. And i have never had an order i was unhappy with. They are the only chinese food restaurant i go to anymore.

Ive been ordering from here since they first started and never a bad experience yet. My favorites are the fried chicken wings, bbq pork spare ribs with or without bone, orange chicken, and house special lo mein.
