It was one of the worst restaurant experiences I ever had. The waitress messed up the order. The beef tartare looked like it was made the day before. The entrees did not arrive for one hour. Everyone who came on after us got there meal and we still waited. I asked as to why the delay, but nothing happened. When the entrees finally arrived one of the dishes was not what we ordered. The staff didnt want to redo the correct dish (rack of lamb). I made thrm take it back, but it was kept on a warmer and came back over done. The coq au vin finally arrived, but with congealed inedible egg noodles. The manager asked what he should do when I again complained. He was rude and arrogant. He didnt seem to have any understanding of customer service. Did the owners not train him to apologize and take something off the bill! He asked me what to do. I asked for the check and left. Next time I will go to Red or drive to Sage Moderne. I have never previously written a bad review for any restaurant anywhere.

Excellent cuisine, fresh and delicious! What more can you ask? The servers were highly attentive and the restaurant was both classy and cozy. The prices were reasonable. Its not the most inexpensive place in the town of Huntington, but for a classy French bistro with fine wines and a wide range of exotic dishes, it is very fairly priced. Not the place to bring little kids. Its not Applebees. Great for a small group of friends or a more intimate dinner with your spouse or significant other. For those picky eaters, yes, there is a Hamburger on the menus with some classic French twists. Would highly recommend!

I ordered a salmon entree. I was very disappointed with this entree. The salmon was merely served with 4 stalks of asparagus -- no potato, no rice. At $25.00 (approximate price) the entree was completely overpriced. Another person in our party ordered a hamburger (approximately $11.00). This meal was better outfitted with large fried potatoes, which lead me to conclude that the kitchen at Bistro Cassis is more comfortable with fast food items.

My mother and I had lunch here on 8/6/12. We both had identical meals which was the shrimp salad. Gently poached shrimp were served over a bed of spinach which warmed and slightly wilted the greens and warmed the vinaigrette and orange slices. The sweetness of the dressing was nicely balanced by the citrus in the salad. Bread was a bit hard (warmed over?). Service average. Restaurant can be noisy and tables are very closely packed together.

after a movie. I had the blanquette de veau, one of my favorite French dish (im French). Boy this was not a blanquette de veau at all. Maybe a very bad cane version of it. The food is not authentic at all. Only French thing there is the decor and less than perfect service. Enough to fool people I guess according to the reviews.

First rate restaurant. Very nice across the board, the owner is notoriously almost always there and then some taking a genuine hands on responsibility of, by and toward his guests. Excellent food and drink, lovely atmosphere. Very much appreciate the privilege of such a warm, welcoming top rate facility. Thank you always!

It was okay. The service is friendly. The place its self is stylist. Deserts are amazing. The only problem I have with it is that my steak always evens up bloody. Then when they take it back to cook it more they only burn the tip layer and the steak will still bleed whenever I cut or pinch it.

Great place, great food. A little tight but service was good, food was amazing, everything, cheese, crab cake, salad, salmon with lentils, chicken, braised ribs risotto and bass with tomato sauce. Mussels with tomato are also pretty good. The chateau neuf du pap was delicious as well!

This place will make you feel like youre in a restaurant in Paris. Their wine selection is on point and they even have 1664 French beer. Overall, its a great environment, delicious food and drinks (accompanied by great service).

You cant go wrong at Cassis. The fresh bread and olives at night are amazing and a great start to the meal. The French onion soup is perfect on a cold day.

After a day on the water and trying not to think about workers compensation law, I find this a great repast. Wine is special and food is delicate.
