So Im usually not one to post a review but after this experience I feel like I need to share. Coming from Kingston tuesdays are usually taco night, tonight we opted to get out town and try something new while trying to find other places that do a taco night we came across the Spy.. having been to it when it was the northern spy we figured we would try taco night. Jalapeño margs were great. I ordered chicken tacos and cod. Neither were great the fish was ok. The chicken was extremely dry and had no flavor. There was no color to the food. My sons French fries were basically what we ate and the biscuits. After telling the waitress my thoughts on the food I wanted her opinion what do people order? And she said this must have been a "bad batch" of tacos. She didnt apologize. While she was young I dont fully understood I wasnt pleased.the best part was she asked if we wanted the menue to order something else. I understand its 2.00 but still I would not expect anyone to serve bad two dollar tacos. Not expecting compensation but assuming she would tell her manager the situation she brought us the bill like I asked and not one thing was even compensated. Probably wont be going back here. I assume the girl was a new server because she didnt seem to know what she was doing. Having worked in a restraurant I would never let my customer leave like that.

Absolutely beautiful renovation, exquisite decoration. Food was excellent. New American cuisine, all the dishes were well done. We visited on an off-night, but the quality was still high. Waitstaff were charming. Down to earth and young, but very genuine and solicitous. Our server was clearly a kid still learning, and to her credit, she told us what she knew and then got answers to whatever questions she couldnt answer. A great local restaurant, one that punches well above its weight. Highly recommend for special events, date night, dinner with the parents, and they even have a separate bar area that makes it good for sports/tv events.

Love the fact that it reopened, and perhaps the night we went was in start up mode, so Ill return soon in the hopes that its old glory of delectable rhythm has been restored.

The restaurant is cozy and friendly, the owner literally held my newborn son so we could eat. Cant say enough how much I love this place and the people in it!
