Outstanding! I ate at EuroCafé today with my parents and children! We drove 30 miles just to eat at this restaurant at the suggestion of a friend. My friend is Polish and strongly suggested I make the voyage to this gem of a restaurant! Firstly, the parking couldnt be easier, its on Main St. and theres plenty of street parking. We entered the restaurant and were pleasantly greeted at the door. We were promptly seated. The aroma of food being prepared really exasperated our hunger. They have a varied selection of soups including numerous vegetarian soups. We had the Peasant Soup. It had nice chunks of bacon. The soup was to die for! The flavor explosion was unexpected, as for the most part, soups are soups, not so in this case! Wow, is all Im going to say! We ordered varied dishes from the menu. The perogies were extremely flavorful and CLEARLY home made taste. The salad AND the salad dressing that came with my schnitzel entree was amazing! It was so good I asked if we could perhaps purchase a bottle of it. Unfortunately, its a closely guarded family recipe and not for sale. I never thought Id ever mention a salad in my reviews but this salad was outstanding! The meat was cooked perfectly! The ambience of the restaurant coupled with the friendly staff really placed this restaurant as a top pick for me! One of the owners came out and we spoke for a while. She was such a pleasant person to converse with! The desserts were all homemade and phenomenally delicious! Bravo, to the owners for having authentic European food in a small college town! The food I know is authentic as my friend and her mother are Polish and described this restaurant as authentic! It certainly was!

Best food in Geneseo. The owners are great, and this place would be worth a visit for them alone even if the food wasnt so delicious. Polish food can be heavy, but Margaret (the chef) balances this out with generous sides of delicious salads. The soups are fantastic, the sour rye in particular is a must try. The pierogi are excellent (as good or better than my grandmothers) though I wish they came with a small bit of salad. Just dont fill up to much on the savories, as Krystynas cakes are wonderful. As a student, EuroCafe is a lifesaver.

The best food in Geneseo and hands down my favorite restaurant. The food is consistently amazing and the atmosphere is cozy, friendly and open. Extremely clean and the wait staff is very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Sometimes food can take a little bit to come out but its all homemade so its always worth the wait. My favorite is the sorrel soup and the potato dumplings with smoked pork loin. And you cant go wrong with their raspberry hazelnut cake. Absolutely divine.

Euro Café is one of my favorite places in Geneseo. They serve European and Polish food that is absolutely delicious. Everything is seasoned to perfection and is homemade made by two sweet ladies. One of my favorite menu items is the 6 perogies and kielbasa sausage, along with the peasant soup. If youre in town you definitely have to visit Euro Café.

Small mom and pop business - authentic....its a small warm restaurant - patients are a must because its slow moving however its well worth the wait - its just the mother who is cooks while the son waits tables - excellent pirogies, potato pancakes - desserts are even delicious ...if I lived local it would be a frequent place to eat at for sure

If you want real Polish food this is the place you have to eat at. They are moving to a larger place and I wish them nothing but the best of luck. It is a family run place in the finest tradition. If you do love Polish or Hungarian food you have to eat here.

Food is very good, however there is somewhat of a wait. Be prepared to wait a while and plan events accordingly. The waiters/waitresses are very accommodating and inform you of all their dishes.
