I am a glutton for Chinese food from Manhattan, where this type of stuff is everywhere, and Ive also had a lot of experience with "Chinese" elsewhere in this country. Compared to Manhattan or Long Island, where many of the universitys students are from, this stuff does not compare. The food is low-mid level quality, inconsistent, and the restaurant does not feel particularly clean; however the service is decent, delivery is quick, and the prices are cheap. I often find myself succumbing to the temptation of eating here simply because I love Chinese food. I recommend trying it out if you love the stuff too. I have had some very good experiences, some pretty bad. Overall it would be dishonest to rate any higher than three stars.

decent food, but I have to question a facility that delivers pork fried rice and a pork egg roll to someone who ordered tofu... and then makes them not only pay for their replacement white rice, but also makes them come pick it up when the order was originally for delivery...

Main moons Chinese food is about the same as any other low-cost Chinese take-out place. They cater to SUNY Geneseo college students, so the food is cheap, but of pretty average quality. Take out service is fast.

My family has been ordering take out food from Main Moon for many years. They are very nice people and the food is great. The portions are large. They do a nice job. They are very quick too!
