Order filled on time as stated, nice staff but the food was HORRIBLE. Ordered 2 sesame chicken with fried rice. Rice was ok, sesame chicken was a DISGRACE. It looked and tasted like the sauce was diluted ketchup. The worst I have had from ANY chinese restaurant. It was a waste of time and money, being my daughter and I threw it all away after 2 bites. We were visiting the area, "wanted" chinese food, took a chance at The Great Wall due to researching and reading their reviews (4.1) we ended up there...what a GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT!! I KNEW we should have gone to APPLEBEES once I entered the building and glanced around...ugh!!!

The best Chinese in Ranson but owners do not pass charged tips to wait staff!!!!! We used to eat here frequently till we found out from more than one waitress that the owners do not allow the waitresses to have the tips that were designated on credit card charges. Everyone is friendly here and the food is great but it really bothers me to eat here knowing they would treat their wait staff so poorly. Cleanliness is not the best looking in the bathroom or dining area floor boards. Kitchen seems typical in cleanliness for an average Asian establishment.

Love this place! I always get the Dragon & Phoenix and the fried dumplings. The dumplings arent too fried, so they still have a crispy-like texture and the filling is delicious, even without the dipping sauce that goes with it! As for the Dragon & Phoenix, it is delicious. I know its cheating by asking for them to make it mildly spicy (I cant handle spicy food well, so any chance I get I try to get mild), but the Dragon & Phoenix is extremely delicious! I always go here whenever I want my Chinese food fix. :D

Today, May 1st I was sitting in the waiting area at the restaurant when the two young men came to work there. One went directly to putting rice in boxes while the other sneezed in his hand, neither washed their hands the entire time I was there. Ive never put negative feedback on any place Ive eaten until this one. I guess I believe that its all the bad stuff in food that makes it taste good but I do have a minimum set of standards I hope a restaurant meets...

I ordered carry out, food was done on time and the staff was very friendly. The food was god awful though, I had ordered Hanan Chicken and Lo Mein. The chicken was very squishy and tasted as if it came out of a frozen meal; as a result, I had no more than 2 bites and refused to give the rest to even my dog. The Lo Mein was below average as I would consider Panda Express better. Save your money and go somewhere else unless you want to be disappointed.

Been going there for at least 8 years and its been great every time. Friendly service and fast. Egg rolls are some of the best I have ever had and Ive eaten all over the east coast traveling around for work or school. 5 stars for sure, I know they have fresh food because they are right next to the grocery store which I actually worked at in my late teens and early 20s. Check it out if you dig good eats for real.

Weve ordered carryout from this place numerous times since moving to the CT area. Every time the service is outstanding, and there is the convenience of ordering online. They are really good about following special instructions (extra crunchies for soup, extra fortune cookies, etc), and Ive never had a wrong order. Love this place!

Great food at great prices with friendly service and the warm and personal atmosphere of a family run restaurant. I eat here often and love it. For take-out or for eating in this little restaurant is hard to beat for solid value, dependable tasty food and pleasant staff.
