I thought this place might be like Chipotle or Moes, but alas it was not nearly so good. Although the ingredients are out in view, the customer doesnt walk along and choose what they want, instead you go to the register and choose a pre-determined dish off the menu and then wait for it. Why even have all the ingredients out on view if you cant choose what you want? The ingredients sound good and healthy but taste kind of fake and bland. They use gross slimy sauces to cover up the lack of quality. I couldnt finish my rice bowl with spinach and chicken, which sounded great in theory but was seriously lacking. The employees were very friendly and helpful- perhaps glad to see a customer as I was their only one. I will NOT be back

Staff is usually friendly and food is OK. Its not quite as good as another prominent national burrito chain, but they dont have a location in Charles Town. The staff could do a better job wiping down the booths and the tables, the food is kind of pricey for what you get, and the guacamole is not very tasty, but other than that its pretty good.

All these haters say that California Tortilla is "watery" and "an odd taste sensation"? In this critics opinion, California tortilla is one of the best Mexican fast food chains in America. At least you know your food is cooked, unlike Chipotle.

This location WAS closed for a time but has since reopened. And its one of my new favorite places to go. The staff has always been friendly in each of my visits and I think the food is great. Ill be heading there later today!

Their korean street tacos and burritos dont taste anything at all like korean bbq. They use Siracha instead of gochu-jjang... Even so, i consider them better than taco-bell, but not quite chipotle. Cheers!

I like California Tortilla, but this location was a bit slow and the chips were stale. The lady who took my order had the personality of a robot. My burrito was good though. :-)

Good steak tacos, tasty guacamole, and light, crisp and fresh tortilla chips. Since we dont have a Chipotle nearby, this is now my favorite local fast Mexican style food.
