American food at its finest!!! The place just opened but Ive been twice with my wife already. Its a quaint little spot for a quiet evening of great food and drinks with a nice trendy decor. The foods not overly complicated but it sure does taste that way. The flavors remind us of things weve tasted in places like France and Italy, while the menu still has simple American dishes like ribs and pork chops the remind you of good old home cooking. The drinks are just as masterfully concocted, if not better than the overpriced speakeasies of New York City and San Francisco. This place is a breath of fresh air for the area. Chef Bynum has done an excellent job with this restaurant and I hope he has long lasting success in Farmingdale or wherever his budding career takes him.

The food looks great on the website which is why I drove 25 miles a few weeks back to eat hear on a Sunday. Only problem is they were not open. I double checked the website to see if I read the hours wrong and I definitely did not. There were no signs indicating that they would be closed and I even called to see if they had left some kind of message on their answering machine and nothing besides their regular message. Other customers were there that ran into the same problem. On a side note, we went to Cascarinos which is across the street and it was great!

Hush is the total 5 star experience: A welcoming and knowledgeable staff with a genuine desire to create the ultimate experience for both you & your palate. Must try: Brussel sprouts, short ribs, duck, bread pudding..just make sure you tackle the menu! Chef/Owner Marc Anthony Bynum Is a humble soul whos only purpose is to crank out the most forward thinking dishes your mouth has ever been privi to!

ate dinner there last week. It was ok. Sorry I just cant get past a $35 burger! (Hush Burger) That was the most expensive thing on the dinner menu. There were about 6 entrees. It was ok. but, not for $35. I thought maybe it was Kobe beef but, I dont think so. Dont think I will be going back. There are plenty of other better restaurants to go at the same price point.

Average service and fairly good food. Definitely way more hyped up than it actually is. Chef also seemed very rude and nasty to his workers which was a huge turn off. Not to mention we felt like we were eating on top of one another in such a cramped dark setting. All in all we wont be visiting again such a disappointment after reading such rave reviews.

One of my favorite restaurants in Nassau County. Family-run establishment, with a pretty good menu. Chef tried to temporarily remove the mac & cheese from the menu, but his sister (who i believe to be the GM) made him reconsider. Boy, was she right! We get the mac & cheese and ribs as appetizers every time we go.

This place is incredible. Great atmosphere a very eclectic, intimate setting. Food and service are amazing. You must try the brussel sprouts ( I never thought I would ever say that phrase in my life). A little on the expensive side but no more than similar eateries. Cant wait to go back.

Im still salivating after eating there. The food is always amazing and a beautiful presentation. Their atmosphere and staff are top notch. This unique hole in the wall restaurant is worth every Penney and worth going way out of you way to have the opportunity to enjoy.

The food is phenomenal. They take their time and do everything right. I love the vibe. Very low key, great for a date night. Id recommend reservations, since there arent many tables and theyre usually booked, but definitely worth it!
