My 1st childs baby shower was booked here. I wouldnt recommend this place EVER. When we booked the venue we were forced to move to their "new location" 2 weeks before our event without them even advising us of the change. From the moment I walked in the door the waitress was beyond offensive. Her attitude was unnecessary and very unwelcoming. (By the way it was a one waitress show for a party of 40). I had to ask for drink orders to be placed...because all we had was water. In the middle of eating the staff was moving in pointless decor (A large register in on a dolly). Completely unprofessional. The room was so hot and sticky the ceiling was actually leaking water down the wall from poor air circulation (probably because the vent dust was pouring out). So a blower was placed on the floor to circulate air.... So I got to open gifts and concentrate on some happier times until as soon as I finish the owner decides to roll a huge stereo system through my party to put out on his deck for his public patrons......so rude. Then proceeded to blast music. Cake was handed out with no forks and once again beverages were scarce. Coffee wasnt even offered....My party was rushed to about 2.5 hours when I actually had the room for 4 hours. Regardless of the pace of the party they then proceeded to breakdown tables before our party was even gone ...(if we have the venue till 4pm ... 2:30 breakdown is unnerving. I was so disappointed in how hard my family worked to give me such a beautiful day and for unprofessional establishment to completely screw it up. At one point the owner aka the chef just stood there in the middle of my party all sweaty and condescending like I owed him some sort of attention. The place is a joke. The waitress I hope receives the same respect in life she gave my guests and to future patrons of this establishment good luck

Went to the White Sands location... Ill list by pros and cons of the new location: Pros: New location has great views and outside deck. Some menu items are delicious (clams casino & tuna steak) Cons: Small space and diners sit on top of each other "Live" music is an older gentlemen singing but volume was deafening (had to sit outside aso you couldnt talk without yelling) Had the Divinio dish, sauce was great but the rest was subpar. Had popcorn Shrimp and tiny scallops that wasnt sautéed or anything, just added to the dish. For $25, I expected sea scallops and bigger shrimp, complete disappointment. All of the dishes had fresh garlic and onions that was still raw or slightly cooked. In turn flavor was bitter and not appealing for both tuna steak and scallop dish. Service was the absolute worst, and the main reason we will not return. No one knew what to do, and they didnt know who covered what tables. Add onto that, took 10 mins just to get water (didnt know it was BYOB, so didnt have wine with us).

I stayed across at hotel with my boyfriend while he worked for a week to work. I had the best experience while we were together, and while alone. George, owner and chef, is personable, talented and very likable. The food he has trained his great chefs to prepare is parallell, even better to NYC...HE IS GREAT..Jean, the waitress, was so much more than waitress. She is family. She was phenomenal! I never felt so welcome while I was alone. She was like a long time friend, yet extremely professional. I will definately return, and I am two hours away. Thank you Chef George and Jean!

The service was a nice pace, and we did not feel rushed. The food was absolutely amazing, my fiancé and I loved every item we ordered from apps to entree to dessert. The dark truffle burrato app was AMAZING, its a bruschetta with burrato mozzerella, dark chocolate and strawberries. The mix is so delicious! The menu is a WOW! Theres 10+ chicken options with varieties from Italian, Moroccan, Mexican, Indian and more. The entire staff was friendly and the restaurant is clean with beautiful views! I highly recommend and cant wait to come back!

Service leaves much to be desired. Seated right away. But 20 minutes later, no menus, and no one had come over to the table. Staff continually passed by and looked at us, but none came over. The gentleman seating people was even putting the tables around us together. After 20 minutes, we got up to leave and made one last attempt to be served. The gentleman at the door shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Very disappointed considering we ate dinner there the night before and for a party of 5, we had spent $150 the night before.

So disappointed. Ordered a greek salad to go for the ride home, waited over 20 minutes for it, and they put a disgusting blob of white cream on top. The menu had said a lemon wine vinaigrette. When I called and asked what it was they said "tahini" sauce, though it looked like they ran out of feta and just plopped ranch dressing on it. They refused to credit my card back for a $13 gloopy messy which I couldnt even eat due to my food allergies. Expensive, deceiving, and not worth your time. For your sake, dont waste your time.

The previous review was untrue. We happened to be sitting in the restaurant, which was packed. All the waiters were literally running from table to table. The party of five was waiting for less than 10 minutes when they stormed out announcing they were leaving and the chef apologized, but they left saying how terrible the service was. The service was actually excellent, and nobody shouls have to work so hard to make a living!!!

Have had dinner there a few times now & has been consistently excellent. Varied menu & great service! Have eaten both inside & out & love the ocean views! Chef George is friendly & checks on his patrons to make sure everything is good with them.

Arugula is a fantastic restaurant. Creative menu, great food and service. The only restaurant I know of where you can have three meals served on the oceanfront. There is also great entertainment on Friday nights. I recommend it highly.

Went to the location above the White Sands. Tuna was a little dry over nice vegetables. Mixed seafood dish had what you would have to call popcorn shrimp. Shame on you!

food was great, but menu is limited. The smoothies are a bit watered down, but the sandwiches wont disappoint.
