Four stars because it is exactly what it seems; not because its stellar or near extraordinary. The very simple, clean, almost elegant (not extravagant or overdone) atmosphere is very pleasant. Serving staff are usually friendly and polite. The menu is simple, but solid American surf&turf&woodland fare. The included salad bar is definitely one of the best in the area, has a diverse selection of fresh foods and nine or more dressings, and is well monitored, (is included!) and there is always a homemade soup. Someone has done some real homework with the microbrew beer list and while not either broad or deep, there are excellent beer/food parings and decent GF beer! Prices are reasonable and service prompt. Wine list is very limited, but adequate to the fare.

Hated all the flies(counted 15 on 1 window) & then they started spraying bug spray while everyone was still finishing dessert.We also witnessed staff making plates for themselves before boxing up the left over "bereavement" food for us,the least they could have done is plate it in the back where we didnt see.We wished they would have given us the boxes so we could make our own to-go plates since we had so many to split with rather than all in bulk.Also there was wilted greens & cheese that looked like it had been sitting out too long on the salad bar.

Our children chose this restaurant for our 40th anniversary dinner. Very small family of 12! The restaurant is beautiful, the food is delicious, the service was A-1. Our waitress was spot on, friendly and enjoyed our celebration. We had a wonderful time. Recommend this restaurant highly. We live in Sullivan County, NY, but will visit again and again.

Dear Even and Staff, What a wonderful job you all did for the CHOP Fundraiser last night. The whole evening was fantastic. The food was delicious and I loved the set up including the ice cream bar. You never disappoint your customers. Id like to see a few more smiles from wait staff. Thanks again!

The food is tasty and pretty fresh. The service is very good. My server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menus. My only problem was that the prime rib is advertised as "slow cooked" but mine was significantly tough. Otherwise, My meal was great!
