This is by far my favorite restaurant in Rockland County - and Im not a particular fan of Italian cuisine, but the food at this place is delicious. I live in Nyack and most restaurants here are fair to mediocre, and overpriced - I do not believe any of the so called choice restaurants in Nyack could make it in Manhattan because they just arent that good. I could go into Manhattan and have a better meal for less money with better people watching at Balthazar - which is what Id rather do. The exception for me is Il Fresco, which is absolutely delicious, with a charming atmosphere - I always enjoy myself there. And even compared to places in NYC,(Im no expert on restaurants in Italy) - I think its one of the best Italian restaurants Ive ever eaten in.

The food is excellent ......The wait staff if great....The waiter, Ben, that someone else knocked in a review is actually one of the best waiters you will ever experience, because he is a character and will make your dining experience even more enjoyable. Your glass of water will never get a chance to be empty cause there will be a busboy there to keep it full. If you are looking for great food and great atmosphere make your reservation early because they are always booked up on the weekends.

My Single WORST Restaurant experience. My wife and I waited 1 1/2 hours for our entree after we placed order with the server. The server was very apologetic. However, when we spoke to the manager (we could not leave without saying something), we were treated extremely rudely. The woman who apparently is the owners sister got in our face and told us we should be grateful that she sat us on a Saturday night! We will never go back to this restaurant. It is run extremely unprofessionally.

Il Fresco is an elegant, upscale italian restaurante. the Wine Cellar below is a treat for families especially during the winter months. there is a fireplace on the lower floor. the cuisine is first class. we had fresh calamari with a medium heat sauce. the staff is professional. there might be a waiting list on weekends so reserve a table ahead of time. i hope this restaurant continues to create new, imaginative dishes & does not succumb to overhype or exhaustion.

I had the pleasure plan a small wedding last weekend, the bride chose Il Fresco for her reception. To my surprise, the staff was so VERY helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to make the brides dream a reality. The food was excellent in presentation and taste. Il Fresco staff truly goes above and beyond... I simply loved working with them!

I went in here to have dinner with some of my coworkers and I was pleased at the look and service but the food was terrible. I will never go here by choice again. I ordered the halibut and it seemed to be either under cooked or just slimy. I was expecting something a little easier to taste and it seemed like it had no flavor.

Nice place to eat and the food is excellent. We received our salads and drinks right away. It took an hour for the appetizers to arrive and before we finished, the entres came. It was poor timing of food arrival. The cappuccino is the best - no sugar needed - large cup and HOT. All in all, it was a nice evening with friends.

I go here on a monthly basis and ive never had better italian food. The wait staff is nice and friendly. The inside is very classy and has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food along with great service
