Simple place with really good food, great value, outstanding for vegetarians (specials 2 days per week) and anyone just wanting great healthy food. It took me years of visiting Cortland before I tried it so dont let the first appearance put you off.

Always fast, authentic and delicious. The service is great. Superior hummus! Easy to pick up or eat in. The dining room is comfortable but without any particular coziness or atmosphere. Go for food, not for atmosphere- but the food is worth it!

You will make this a regular restaurant stop. The food is homemade, the atmosphere relaxing, and the owners treat you like family. The rice pudding is to die for. You will not be disappointed, but full and happy when you leave! Enjoy!

Solid mediterranean fare, with a family feel to the restaurant. Lacking any of the pretense of some of the restaurants you might find in Ithaca, Pita Gourmet is a great choice for simple meal.
