Very disappointed. Have visited the area 3 summers in a row and each time stopped in at brothers. Last year went on our first night here and we were tired after a 10 hr Drive. Went to brothers and ordered 2 drinks and one dinner. Great food. This time stopped in again after a long drive. Met a friend who had already eaten. It was just after 9 and we ordered 3 drinks and my daughter ordered dinner. Not really hungry I asked for one of her sides to be green beans. When my friend said she was not eating we were told that there was an automatic $5 charge if a ticket went in with 3 drinks and only one meal. We asked to talk to manager. No manager on duty to question and cook said no. We ordered to go. Upshot is we paid $30 for 3 diet cokes and one pulled pork dinner to go. My favorite BBQ place in the area is no longer Brothers. BTW the seasoned green beans they must have been out of as these were not what Ive had in the past and were missing even salt and pepper.

The food is killer and theyve done an amazing job fixing it up! If its not to crowded theyll even let you sit with your dog out on the patio! The one big downside is the take out which leaves a lot to be desired. They cant hear you over the crowd when you call in so often your order is at least partially wrong, they insist on making the fries when you get there so you have to wait even if you told them not to and God forbid they ever remember to put the bbq sauce in there!! So if you call in do it early, speak loudly, triple check your order, dont be in a rush and make sure youve laid eyes on that sauce!! The food is worth it though, and not just the finger licking meats, you Have Got to try the Baked Beans!! Pass the trough :-)

Sitting here now and its like the waitress does not realize its her job to sell me food. I had to ask for a menu after 10 mins. Been sitting waiting here for 10 more. There are 3 people in here including me. If youre not ready to open at 11, why do it? Now after 10 more minutes Im finally asked what Id like to eat. They are out of almost everything on the menu until 12. Again--why open at 11? I am leaving to go to somewhere that has food and will not be coming back. I assume that things are usually not like this given the high rating, but this was as bad of an experience as Ive had.

I love this place! Its the best BBQ in the whole area. The prices are reasonable. Its not the cheapest place to go, but the food is well worth it. The portions are generous, and their dishes represent many great BBQed meat styles with brisket, pork, chicken, and smoked sausage. The cornbread is great, served with real butter, love the green beans with bits of BBQ pork, the baked beans are definitely not from a can. I adore the collared greens too. Something for any serious BBQ aficionado. Youd need to get on a plane and fly south to get BBQ equal to this.

Ive been to a lot of bbq joints in the south in my ARMY days and overseas.. and everybodys got their thing. But when you walk in to brothers. ...its like youre home. They will accommodate you and your people like you are family. Gavin and his bros know the bbq job in hand and the menu is greater than the other places. Ask for Mike when you go...the kids got drive for customer service like you wont believe. Well worth the money...Thanks guys and I will return like I usually do..against doctors orders...man you only live once...do it up

went there tonight for the first time tonight and I must say the lack of education in the communication and customer service department was a solid 5 stars no doubt. the food was really good but not nearly as good as what they charge for it but what can you do we didnt make the menu. very unprofessional environment where none of the staff or managers have a clue whats going on nor do they care. be very cautious here because they have a tendency to try to rip you off so please review your bill before checking out

Its a well kept secret that I am thrilled to talk about. The amount of food you get for the cost is great. You leave feeling full and satisfied. Every bite was delicious and the bread pudding is an absolute must!! Practically Everything down to the caramel on the desserts is homemade. I was privileged enough to be taken there for a birthday dinner and one of the Brothers took pictures with us.

Food was decent but much too expensive for what you get. Refused to accept my 10% off coupon, adding an unexpected $10 to the bill. Live music but it was too loud to hear yourself think, let alone the others in the party. After being told thered be a 25 minute wait to get a table, we got one 1:25 hours after entering... Only an hour over their estimate. I have no intention to return.

Im from NC and was visiting our son. He loves the food here so this was my first visit. Everything was on point ...Great service, atmosphere was nice. I had Fried chicken and it was great,yams were just sweet enough and collards were seasoned just right. My son had ribs and shared with me, great taste,along with cornbread. Next time we are this way I will be returning. Nice location.

absolutely horrible place to go. the service was six mimes below mediocre (being very nice trust me) the food want that bad but a little on the pricey side. the quality of for is no where close to the level of quality which you are charged for. the servers/waitresses/hosts all are noticeably untrained and seem to be lost I the free for all...wouldnt recommend to anyone

Great to have good Que in the local area. These folks started out like a house afire some years ago with a small, quaint shack serving great BBQ. Then they had a real fire and were closed for a few years, so no more BBQ. They finally rebuilt into a much larger, well-designed restaurant with the same good food and a relaxing place to eat it. Glad to see them back.

Stopped by on a drive by got a half rack was so fly. It was a little late so I tried to refrain the whole meal and save some for the next day. Offered some to co worker next am, bragging how good they were. To my embarrassment I had ate more than half the order went down so easy,tender w flavor. I still recommend the business as it is downright good eats.

Being from the south (Georgia) Ive tasted real southern bbq from the Carolinas and Georgia, and I would say this was some of the best bbq Ive had in Orange County. Their smoked brisket was perfectly cooked and the bbq pork was perfect Carolina style bbq. Needless to say there is a little piece of the South here in Orange County.

You know a BBQ place is going to be amazing when you are given absolutely delicious corn bread after ordering. Had the Spicy BBQ Wings to start. Great cuts of meat for both my girlfriend and I, in which I got the Beef Brisket Sandwich and she had the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Will without a doubt be back here more often.
