Worst BBQ in town. Awful cooked food. Sick of its food everytime I buy something to eat there. Manager and personal have a crazy attitude and price is also like$$$$,(overpriced). Lack of respect and consideration to customers made them a place to never go. For instance, if you order food on the phone they tell you in 15 minutes is ready, then you go 20 minutes later and then they start cooking your order, just to make it depending on who you are or which customer is. Total lack of respect for customers, not to say a desgrace kind of service that would never come from decent busines people. I strongly suggest to never visit or order food from this place. You can not only get sick due to the food but also to the service...

This little hole-in-the-wall simply makes the BEST Portuguese churrasco (BBQ) around. My family has been getting take-out from there for well over 20 years and we still cant get enough. Weve since moved from Elizabeth and there is another Portuguese BBQ about 5 minutes from our house. Even so, we prefer to drive into Elizabeth because the food is so much better! We always call our order in and then pick it up because it gets busy and the wait times can get quite long. Also, a lot of people confuse this place with the "other" Algarve. This is Algarve Barbeque, mainly a take-out place, there is almost no seating available. The other is Algarve Restaurant.

Arrived at just about 9 on a Friday night and although the place was quite full they seated us immediately and were staffed well enough to handle the crowds. Great service - and amazing white sangria! The meals were terrific and the desserts were good too. Although it was not nearly the best desserts the modest price sure made up for it. Over all this is the best sit-down meal I have ever had in Elizabeth, and it was just as good (food wise) as the places in "little portugal" in the Iron Bound - but without risking carjacking. Also the service was much better!

Excellent food, i love love love it, i always recommend this place to friends but there was one employee that was very rude and disgusting. I did not get her name. I ordered 2 big platters and she gave me 2 ketchup..i kindly asked for alittle more due to all the food we had ordered and she was "pretending" to put more in the bag. Im glad I checked and she only added 1 more pack!! Then had a nasty attitude about it..

The food here us pretty good. I like them better than the other Algarves around the corner. The people here are also a lot friendlier than The other Algarves. This place may be smaller than the one around the corner, but its the better one.

It Took One hour and twenty minutes for my foo to arrive. It tasted old. the ship tased terrible and they didnt even get my order correct. I will NEVER order from thi place again. it was really bad. It was just NASTY!
