Great bar food (Chicken Wings, Burgers) and good beer. All at a fair price. I travel from Niagara Falls Canada to go to concerts and events at HSBC Arena on a regular basis. Before every event I always go to Washington Square. For a great place for chicken wings and a nice place to settle in before a show, this is a great place to go. Short walk from the Arena. The reason I give this place a high rating is because of the customer service. Everyone has been really friendly whenever Ive been there. Exceeding my expectations in terms of customer service. That is why I will always go back. If I lived in Buffalo, I would go there on a regular basis. Very relaxed atmoshere. Very recommended.

Awesome wings!!!! Awesome beef on weck!!! Everything is good and extremely reasonably priced. Its really perfect for Sabres and Bisons games since it is so close to both. If you are a fan of Buffalo food (and I dont know how you couldnt be) you should definitely go here...seriously...right now

Across the board there is no place in Buffalo as high quality as Washington Square. From the fresh aroma of the wings and beef on weck, to the smiles and warm nature of the staff, Washington Square has everything you could want in a casual dining experience.

Fish fry&baked fish Italian style and house soup!! Awesome!! The food here was the best. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the place with jukebox was very good.

Great atmosphere good hangout bar very busy befor sabers games make reservations as its standing room only on hockey nights. Best lunch spot around

Forget about anchor bar and duffs. Washington Square...hands down the best wings in Buffalo. The crowds always chill and the staff is stellar.
