Cute place not too far from Atlantic-Pacific, I initially thought it was just going to be decent (and they had a somewhat odd choice of rice variety delivered), but everything in my meal, from the Samosa to the Chutney to the Paneer Tiki Masala, was top-notch. The service was pretty good too; they kept the water coming, and I only got a bit impatient when waiting for my bill. They have some meal-bundles that depend on you being there at the right time of day; you probably will want to hunt down a menu to make sure youre there at the right time. The whole meal worked out to be quite affordable.

My family and I have been coming here for years. We live in downtown Brooklyn so its a bit of a drive to get to Sapid and the parking is sometimes very difficult, but we feel that it is well worth the extra effort. The service is always excellent and the food is some of the best Indian food in NYC. Said, the owner, has gotten to know us and is always warm and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We are never disappointed.

As soon as Sapid popped up on Seamless, I gave them an order. And I was absolutely blown away. The tikka masala was creamy, sweet but spicy, beyond fantastic. I ordered a few more times, usually getting the dinner special, which gives you loads of really delicious food. The food hit a rocky point, and I havent ordered quite as often since, but its getting better.

Delivery guy lied about NOT having change and insisted I owed him tip for delivery a block away. I offered to pick it up and they said no. Lied about the price on the phone. Said it was 33 and it was 37. Did not deliver desert included in bill. Food was below average. Never eat here

delivery guys was a complete prick! He harassed the crap out of me, withheld my food and told me never to order again because I gave him a 15% tip.. apparently 15% isnt enough for him. The food was not worth that creep ruining my night.

Great food, great price for Brooklyn NY. Its at the back of the not so good hotel. But just a gem for lunch. Smells good taste great. Nan is so crisp on the outside, fresh and warm when you bite into it. Pair it with the curry!
