I feel bad since I cannot rate this place less than 1 star. We would never go there again. We went to that place last night. They were busy since it was Friday night. However, being busy is not an excuse to be unprofessional. We entered the restaurant, stayed for a while in front of the bar where two barmen were talking to each other and to the people at the bar who were watching the game on the TV screen behind the barmen. All that time we stayed there turning around and looking for a host or someone like that NOONE seeing us and looking at us said or made anything to show that they at least acknowledged our existence. Nobody paid attention to us. Forget about greeting or welcoming the guests. The waiter was running around, looked at us a couple of times but said nothing. After waiting for a few minutes (looking everywhere trying to make an eye contact with anyone) we felt that they probably DID NOT SEE US somehow. So, my friend decided to raise his hand towards a barman (since there was not a host or anyone else at the place) to show him that we are waiting over there. Guess how he replied? YOU HAVE TO WAIT! YOU HAVE TO WAIT! He pronounced it twice making us feel that we were absolutely unwelcome at their place at that moment or even at all! I could not believe my ears! That was the last thing we were expecting to hear from a person who we came for a service to telling us what we HAD TO DO! We left right away and went to another place next block where we had a great time. If that was a customer service they offered, they would never see us again! Neither we recommend this place to anyone. Terrible! Disgusting!

Korza Fried burgers is where its at. Really impressed, tried the Otto burger and it was delicious. Juicy in the middle and not greasy at all. Served with some fries that go well with the beet sauce ketchup. Also went for the blueberry crumble pie with ice cream. Very rich so come at this place hungry wont be disappointed . We were a party of 4 so also tried their brisket Goulash , fish and chips and ox tail and food was bang on. Place was also clean including restroom. Did I say its easy to find parking out front on the street too.

I loved everything. I just moved in around the corner and kept passing Korzos because it didnt look impressive from the outside. We went in finally tonight in search of good burgers and had to take 15 minutes agonizing over which burger to choose because they all sounded AMAZING. I cant wait to go back. The buttermilk battered fried brie was phenomenal the decor was great, the goulash great. Only thing was with the burger, the strudel dessert and beignets were a bit too much..haha. Cant wait to try all their food!

It was very difficult to get the attention of the staff. The "best burger in NYC" was extremely overpriced and was cold. Our order was up 20 minutes before it was brought to us as we literally waited 75 minutes before receiving our food after ordering it. $24 burger should have been $10 and while tasted alright was more like something youd get at a state fair. Maybe we just came on an off night but the price didnt fit the service/quality.

Service was horrible. Waiter/manager is extremely rude. They gave us dirty drinking glasses. When I asked for cleaner glasses he brought me two small tea cups and said all other drinking glasses were dirty. Not much people in the restaurant. They never explained the menu to us or the specials. But they did for other couples. Fried burger needed salt. But was tasty with ketchup. if the service was not so horrible I would go back.

Stopped in here after seeing it on Burgers, Brews, And Q on Food Network. The Slav burger (and other food) did not disappoint. The flavor of the burger alone was incredible! The perogies were well cooked, and filled with yummy pork. Try the beet ketchup and the Korzo Ale when you stop by. If youre looking for a great burger that appeals to "outside the bun" thinking, then stop in and be satisfied!

Food: The Chefs Special Attentive and friendly service. Prices were moderate. Medium rare was done correctly and the burger is not greasy. The fries were also a great addition. Atmosphere: sometimes there was an awkward calmness to it, but there would be remissions of small chit-chat Overall: would come back and highly recommend! Go Korzo!

Korzo is one of my favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. Its fresh farm to table cuisine served in generous portions at reasonable prices. Mussels are among the recurring highlights of the daily market menu. Service is reliably good. Be prepared for a modest wait for seating on a Friday or Saturday night at peak times.

It might be european restaurant and might have hungarian food but they have nothing to do with Europe. Mexican employees in the kitchen, filled with american hipsters - not to mention Anthony the worst server i have ever seen in US. Food was okay but pretty far from delicious. Was my first time and the last.

Korzo had always been NYs best burger. I was comfortable with this statement because of their creativity - in a boring shake shack world they were serving fried burgers with beets and horseradish and other completely novel Hungarian foods. Now, manhattan closed, but this brooklyn version is excellent

I was a bit disappointed. The food was not even getting close to what it should traditionally be. The goulash was completely a different dish, dumplings had strange greyish-green color and texture of the cheese was crumbled, schnitzel tasted like american chicken fingers and the beer was still.

Service wasnt great. We were not seated immediately even though there were plenty of open spaces and had to wait by the door for at least 5 minutes. I got the original burger, which was definitely enjoyable. Id consider going back to bring an out of town friend for a different-than-normal burger

Korzo burger is a must. Wanderwurst platter is also a favorite. Mixed fries with beet catsup is yummy. Creme brulee is quite agreeable with a shot of Jaeger. Good salads and a good portabella sandwich. Beers are always flowing and theres an ATM for dispensing all your cash.

one of the more underrated restaurants in park slope. they have added a couple of items to their very meat heavy menu that provide welcome relief from the onslaught of cholesterol; still - the best reason to come here is the sausage platter and eastern european beer.

Excellent food. Halusky and fried burgers, my gosh. Big ole pints of beer and amazing Slavic food. They fresh make their own hot sauce, which is incredibly delicious. Ive come to love this place. Oh, get the duck and brie sandwich if they still have it.

Burgers are different, but nothing impressive. Their steak fries are not steak fries, even if you point it out to them--theyre actually shoe string fries. Its ok I suppose. If you ran out of choices to eat and wanted something different, this could do.
