This place is sketchy. Im pretty sure its a front for some large illegal operation, Ive gone in there multiple times during open hours and have been told they are either not open (while they are still making food for delivery), not accepting credit/debit cards, or not accepting promotions (such as DuckBills and Meal Exchanges for Stevens students). One time I went in there and waited around for about 30 minutes while some thick accented asian man yelled at the employees and their manager over an employees phone about payments being continually put off and how he wasnt leaving until someone came down and gave him his money. He was tired of being told "tomorrow" for weeks and was bringing customers into it by asking them to assure the employees he wasnt being irrational, making for a very uncomfortable scene. The food is great though, and when they decide they want to serve you, the service is actually pretty good

The food here is decent and usually that is all I care about, however we showed up as a group of 4 at 8 PM, the only customers in the entire place, with 6 people on staff in the kitchen and behind the counter, and it took 40 minutes for our order to come out. The place closes at 10, and at 8 they were out of bacon and we stayed there until around 9:30 (the majority of the was waiting for our food) and in that time we only saw two other couples enter, and both were turned away once they reached the counter because they were told they were out of meat and fries. What burger restaurant runs out of supplies after making only 4 burgers at 8pm and while planning to stay open until 10pm?

The Food is good, but the management at that place is unbearably bad. Food takes a long time to get out of the kitchen, and every time the manager is there, I personally have an awful time. The card machine always seems to be broken, there always seems to be a problem with the building, and for whatever reason, the times for Washington Street Wednesday for Stevens students keeps changing. If there were any other burger place on Washington Street, or anywhere nearby that was more bearable than this place, I would run over to the competitor hands down. The food is good, but not worth the misery that comes with the rest of the business and management.

Boardwalk is... Ok. The food tastes like a five guys knock off, and the service is slow. The food is good,i never sent anything back, but I would choose somewhere else to satisfy a burger craving. Avoid the Disco Fries at all costs: those are truly terrible -- American Cheese? Really? In a pinch, boardwalk will be fine, and the atmospheres pretty great, but dont expect the best food.

Been here a few times since it opened. Hit and miss as far as food and service. Sometimes its great and other times you get home and find out they only filled the fries halfway and theyve been sitting awhile. The burgers are good but its almost as expensive as one of the sit down waitress type burger joints that line lower Washington.

Food Is mediocre, But the guy at the counter (tall guy with tattoos on his arm) made our experience pretty terrible. Pretty severe rudeness when dealing with me and the friends I brought to the restaurant. Definitely the last time. Avoid this place, there are many better not 100ft from it.

Best take out burger in Hoboken. A solid all around burger. Tasty all beef patty, always a fresh roll, and lots of toppings available. The Boardwalk sauce is a great addition. Staff here is really friendly and never gets an order wrong, despite the 20+ toppings on offer.

Disappointed. The burger was soggy, they forgot to put lettuce, tomato and onion on and the fries had no flavor. Ordered from this place a few times before in hopes that maybe it would be better but unfortunately I was wrong. Probably wont order from here again.

The food is OK, but they always get our order wrong. Also they tend to randomly blast loud music, which makes it difficult to have a conversation. In addition, they are very often out of basic ingredients, like bacon.
