Came in for dinner with my wife, and ordered a a chicken parm and chicken primavera. The chicken was disgusting for a lack of words, not only was it freezer burned for god knows how long,it looked like the cheese was microwaved on. Pasta was so bland marinated with cheap can tomatoe sauce. The primavera sauce seemed to be drenched in this aweful vomit like goup sauce. Where I was just gonna take the loss pay for one plate and drinks (since the parm was inedible) they charged me for eating part of the salad! Its suppose to be part of the meal and given before the entree. Like wtf have some decency. This is really the only reason Im going out of my way to give a bad review. Stay away from this terrible excuse of a diner!

WAY OVER PRICED! Food is good. They charged $30 for 3 scrambed eggs for my oldest son, 2 eggs and turkey bacon for my other son and a turkey bacon and egg on a roll for me. I got a very small ass cup of tea and my other son was given a tiny cup of apple juice that is about half the size of a juice box. My oldest son drank water. How is all of this $30? In total we ordered about 7 Eggs, 6 pieces of turkey bacon (I counted them) a tiny cup of tea and a tiny tiny shot of apple juice. The servers are really nice but its ridiculous how much they charge. Any other diner would NEVER charge $30 for that small of a breakfast.

I flew into New York from Orlando, Fl for my brothers memorial, my family was discussing desert for the repass. I stated that Tremont Diner HAS THE BEST STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE, better than cheese cake factory etc.. I used to give motivational workshops for high school students at Truman High School over 10 years ago. My family thought I was crazy going from downtown NYC to Tremont Diner to pick up the cakes ( I ordered 2 cakes with Chris) and then onto Queens, NY. Thank you Tremont Diner (Chris) for giving comfort to our Celebration of Life Service .

Great service, good food, large parking lot, owners Chris, Charlie and Gus are hands on and dedicated to running a successful family oriented diner. Dinner choices are served with both soup and salad where usually you have to choose one or the other. I personally love the Chicken Oregnato, the various saute dishes and Filet of Sole stuffed with spinach and feta.

WOW....great food, cooked just the way I asked, great service, our waiter was friendly, quick, didnt stay around us but was on point. My husband enjoyed his food too. The atmosphere was nice, clean, friendly. Parking lot was great enough space. We will definitely be returning real soon. Wonderful beginning to a beautiful day for a day out with hubby.

The fries were remarkable. Its as if the chef major in thermo dynamic applications in fries. Crisp and golden; McDonalds has lied to me. In all seriousness amazing food. The service has been top notch; The food came out as fast as we ordered it. Come try this little peace heaven SURPRISINGLY in the bronx.

I Didnt like they service with the exception of one of two waitresses manager was not professional lack of dealing with people with handicap the manager not the polite the food was good though I wont go there again the place has changed let me say they need to change the management

The food was good. I usually drink from a plastic cup. I asked for one and was denied with no explanation and the manager wouldnt come over to explain why. I had to eat my breakfast with no drink.which I didnt see why I couldnt have a to go cup. I do this at all restaurants.

I have been to Tremont Diner twice and the food is good but the hours of operation posted on Maps is wrong. It says they are open from 2:00am. They open at 5:30am huge inconvenience when I walked over to get breakfast before work at 4:00am.

Worst experience, the waiters are racists they just kept on commenting on us as we are Asians, though the waiter was shocked as we still gave her a good tip ! I would be giving them -10 for their behaviour and attitude !

Ive been eating here half my life. The chicken souvalaki is amazing and the staff are courteous and attentive. It can get a little crowded on weekend mornings for breakfast but its worth the wait.
