We used to always hang out here and liked this place. Today we were victims of blatant racism. This place has a jukebox, so we paid for several latin songs and the waiting staff was offended by our choice of music, they acted angry throwing chairs and came to us saying that our choice was not acceptable. To make matters worse, the waitress had the nerve to tell us that we should not play more hispanic music and leave the place, this after we had spent more than 200 dollars in this place. Outrageous that in NYC and with a latin staff this things can happen.

Solid Fordham bar. While there isnt too much competition in the area, howl blows the other bars away in selection and atmosphere. The food is great: wings are some of the best in the city and nacho tower is intense. If you go in earlier during the day its relaxing - non-Fordham people hang out to eat lunch and grab a beer; most nights though the place is at capacity with students, so be warned if you think you can stop by on a random night.

I usually love this place. I have been going here since I was in college a few years ago. I visited the restaurant recently and the bartender refused to serve my friend alcohol telling him it was a fake ID. We are all 27 years old (not 21 or under) and his ID was out of state. Instead of scanning it, she told him it was fake and refused to serve him. I am very disappointed and would have stayed longer and bought more beers.

What is going on with this place, very racist service, they practically threw us out, We were cerebrating a birthday party tonight and one waitress told us to stop playing latin music in the jukebox and leave. We were almost the only people in the place, nobody was drunk, being disrespecful or acting up and 2 of the waitresses just told us to leave. Very sad that this can happen. If Incould give zero stars I would!

I lived in Buffalo for 3 years and when I came back home I could not find wings that even came close until I tried the wings at Howl, just the fact that you can get hot medium or mild is great and the barbecue or honey barbecue were the best I ever had. Nice bar great food

This is my favorite place to come for AMAZING drinks and even better wings and burgers. A few of the bar tenders are a bit rude but the good bartenders make up for their behavior.

A really relaxed spot to have drinks or dinner with close friends. Its a hole in the wall with better than average food. The special drinks are surprisingly delicious.
