The short review: its fantastically delicious and its reasonably priced. Go now. Ive been enjoying curry for fewer years than I would like. For some reason, I only started eating it while living in Japan. Amazingly, they had some of the best curry restaurants there, both Indian and Japanese style. When I came back to New York in 2002, I expected to find the best curry restaurants around since NYC is often known for excellent and authentic cuisine. I was wrong. I hit nearly every midtown curry shop I could find. I even checked out what is often regarded as Westchesters best curry restaurant. Not a one of them could compare to the quality I had known ... until Curry Spot. I am working my way through the menu. The only weakness Ive encountered so far was a slightly drier than usual seekh kebab. Everything else has been great. I highly recommend any tikka masala, and the hot fish curry I had the other night was one of the best Ive ever had. The mango lassi complemented it perfectly, and Im already thinking about what my next meal will be. Im thinking of ordering a chicken vindaloo and saag paneer next time.

I have ordered from here from grub hub, and today I went to the restaurant to sit in. Let me begin by saying its a shame that this place isnt packed every night. The food is amazing. The service is good and courteous. I have eaten at many Indian places throughout the years but I have never eaten at a place that made me felt so at home. No matter what you order, the food is delicious. And honestly I dont usually feel overwhelmed by delight by food but this place does it to me. It fills me with joy and I have left from this place today feeling like this is definitely a gem in the Bronx. I know I sound like a spokes person for this place but the truth of the matter is that if the food sucked I wouldnt rave as I am. If you want delicious Indian food then come here but bare in mind that the staff is not fluent in english so if you notice that they do not speak much to you dont be surprised. At least they are very attentive.

AWFUL!! September 30,2011 Tandoori chicken was inedible-overcooked and dry-3 chicken legs that were either reheated or burnt brown. Had asked for white chicken, and was willing to pay more for same.Regular customers and so disappointed last night with our food. The chicken tikka masala was really just chicken in some sort of tomato soup.We have come to expect so much more from the curry spot that our disappointment had to be vented. The food was chucked in the garbage to our dismay!!! 119 Sedgwick Avenue,Yonkers. The only redeeming factor was the delivery man, always so nice and polite. You guys have to do major quality control inspections on food for delivery if you want our business again.

Ive ordered from them in years past and now with change in name have taken to charging 2$ extra on deliveries beyond a mile (which on their new menu does not properly indicate). So despite how good their food may be they can keep it under premise of their greed. I live 1.5 miles from there and their surcharge eats into the tip of the delivery person which is unfair to that person. Will NEVER order from them again based on these ridiculous new policies. So much for them.

No Air conditioning, guys making and serving food drenched in sweat. The guy got my order wrong and refused to admit it, he eventually changed it after re-checking the slip. I Got barely any meat, mostly bone and potato, supposed to be goat vindaloo. I would be suprised if this place lasts much longer. Avoid this place!

It was a good resturent before. They change the resturent. Now its look so ugly in there. There customer service is so bad. Only the dailybary gys are so nice. They try to get customers attantion. There is not enough efort from inside. But the food quality is awesome. Change it . Plz we need good service.

If you have the cravings for Indian food then you must go to Curry Spot in Woodlawn. Amazing Gourmet Style food at very affordable prices and a good ambience. I love there Chicken Tikka Masal and Shrimp Masal Appetizer. The best part you can be as creative as you want & they will cater to your cravings.

I TOOK MY CO-WORKERS TO THIS PLACE SINCE IT WAS THE CLOSEST INDIAN RESTAURANT. UNFORTUNATELY AFTER WE HAD THE FOOD I FELT SO EMBARRASSED FOR TAKING THEM HERE AS A FIRST EXPERIENCE. FOOD WAS NASTY AND THE PRICES WERE TOO HIGH. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS PLACE

Everything we had was good, especially the Chicken Tikka Masala, though it seemed to be missing that something... "extra". Chicken Korma was pretty good too. It hit the spot and we will try again but were not blown away by the food. Garlic Naan also a hit!

Great take out Indian food! We are regular customers for several years and both the quality of food and the service are consistently good. Recommended Dishes: Chicken Bhuna, Chicken Korma and Baingan Bharta (Eggplant)

For the price and location, this place is AMAZING! They even deliver! For an area that doesnt have much variety, Curry Spot is a welcome and delicious addition to my take out dinner rotation.

On of the worst Indian food I tried. They did not have good Indian floor and it gave me stomach ache. The paratha was the best part
