Being an islip resident I have eaten at Pico several times and for the most part have had pleasant experiences , however tonight was absolutely terrible. We had a group of 6 and we all ordered alcohol, an entrée and a dessert as well as two appetizers. To begin we had 2 drinks that contained live ants which was absolutely disgusting. Shortly after we found a large portion of tin foil in our dessert. Both of these incidents were apologized for by the waitress who was more then professional about the situation. All was promised to be comped, however after paying the bill found that only one dessert was taken off the 240 bill. Not to mention one of the entrees was brought out about 10 minutes late because it was completely forgotten. After returning home we contacted the restaurant to speak to the manager about the experience, this was extremely unhelpful and dissapointing. She apologized and that was about it. She never once came to the table to check on us after the numerous issues regarding our meal and on the phone she refused to diffuse the situation. Whilst on the phone there was nothing further offered and the apology was less then mediocre. They just lost 6 loyal customers, a gift card or a meal or two comped would go a long way. Very dissapointing.

This was our 3rd or 4th time dining here and again were completely satisfied with everything...split the loaded tater tots appetizer with my husband and ordered street tacos (I had one fish and one carnitas), and a Grand Chocolate tequila on the rocks. Our daughter had a kids menu beef burrito...and it was SEALED so a kid can actually eat it without the insides spilling out and making it impossible for her to handle. It was pretty huge for our kid so I forked out some meat, rice and cheese for her so she wouldnt solely eat the fries that came with it (you could have fruit or chips instead). No dessert included on the kids menu, but she was stuffed anyway and we planned on hitting the park and Mr. Softee so it worked out just fine. Love this place and will be back again for sure.

First time here, awesome atmosphere, love the decorations, and the drinks are fantastic! I never knew a tequila menu could be so big! The music was loud enough to hear, but not overpowering so I could have a conversation with the others at my table. I ordered chicken empanadas, came with two. One was chicken and the other was beef. I didnt bring it up with my waitress because I almost couldnt choose between chicken or beef, but both were fantastic. I dont know what the beef was seasoned with but its amazing. Also ordered a side of the warm cheese and sour cream that I didnt receive either, but thats okay because the empanadas were very big and full of flavor. I was charged for it on the check. Paid it anyway. Not worth it to argue over $3.

This place is absolutely amazing. The food is incredible, the staff is attentive and extremely friendly! I have been coming here about once every two weeks (sometimes once a week) since it opened! I have never had a bad experience. When my family and I come in we always feel so welcome by the staff, even my 2 year old (who has been coming here since shes a newborn) knows the staff! The waitstaff are a gem! The food is delicious. Since weve been here so much, we literally have had everything on the menu. NOTHING has ever disappointed us! If you are reading this, thinking whether you should come eat here, dont pay attention to the one star reviews...GO! you will have a new favorite spot!

Wonderful place! Food is delish, service is quick and the waitstaff is amazing. The bartender with the flower in her hair is amazing as well as the other young man who bartends Friday nights. My husband and I are regulars here,stopping by just about every Friday night. Its nice to walk into a place and be called by your first name as soon as they see your face. But I must say, I miss Wendy. Hasnt been the same since her departure and I was sad to see her go. Its an all around great place to grab a bite and just relax.

My daughter took me to Pico for my birthday a year and a half ago and I loved it. Ive been back at least 4 more times since including January 1st 2016 and today, January 9th. I love the tacos...especially the bang bang taco. Each time Ive gone there I loved it as much as the first time. Great, consistent and fresh food. And love the margaritas too. It is by far my favorite place in Bay Shore to eat. The wait staff is friendly too. Today I had Krystal and she was great. Keep up the good work.

Ive eaten here before but tonight i got take out $49 worth and it wasnt worth it at all. Let me say the first couple times ive eaten here the Food was amazing. Tonight my food doesnt even deserve the one star i have to give. Im so disappointed. what happens to restaurants, why do they start off great and end up terrible. taco bell would of been better than the food they gave me tonight.

in old smokin als so looks the same inside. sweet potato tequilla was good and smooth. the loaded tots were surprisingly flavorful. the burittos are huge. overall its a good place for a quick bite off of a simple menu. i would go back for the tots! my salad was large and done well. the dressing was very good, and i dont usually like dressing.

Love their food, the atmosphere and their margaritas. This is not standard Mexican, closer to American Mexican or Tex-Mex, but still delicious and fresh. They make a whole bunch of different margarita types (I love the Hibiscus) and they do tequila flights too. Not a fancy place, but still a cozy enough atmosphere for date night.

Food was mediocre at best. The server Tim was inattentive and smoked a cigarette two minutes into us getting our food. The host was the best part of the meal. She was adorable because she did all of the leg work. Do not eat here.

Im out with my fiancée and her family I had two drinks in front of me and the manager came over to us and made a big deal that my sangria and pitcher were to close to my fiancée who never ordered a drink and never showed her ID

Our FAVORITE place for lunch an dinner. Great Mexican style food with a socal twist. The staff is always amazing and friendly. This has really become our go to! Food and drinks are incredible and it is very affordable!

Great looking restaurant with really good tacos. Perfect mix of great decor with a casual atmosphere and tasty reasonably priced food. There is also a nice craft beer menu. Service is fast and friendly.

This spot is fun and the food is delicious. The menu is concise, but theres everything you could possibly want from a taco place. The service is great and wait staff is accommodating and nice.
