We pulled in, found a parking spot quite easily, and went in to a nice warm and inviting place, and that is where the warm, fuzzy feeling ended. It was one of the worst dining experiences we have had in a long time!! We stood in the bar for about 5 minutes looking like dummies because, well, we were just standing there waiting for someone to direct us to a table, and the help was not forthcoming. People at the bar kept looking at us like they wanted us to sit down. The bartender finally spoke up and asked us if she could help us. She seated us, asked us what we would like to drink and about 10 minutes later brought our drinks, and took our orders. Mind you, the place was not busy. We drained our drinks and waited another 25 minutes before one of the two waitresses asked us if we would like refills. Other tables that had arrived after us were getting their appetizers. We waited, and waited. Another round of drinks (coffee that we waited another 15 minutes for), and now we were starting to really realize that we had made a bad choice. About an hour and ten minutes after we arrived our food came out, but not at once. No, they brought out my fish fry and my friends wifes grilled chicken salad, but nothing for the other two in our party! About five minutes later they brought out my girlfriends meal. I was nearly done with my fish when the other person in our party finally got his fish fry! The food was ok, but not spectacular by any stretch. The fish fry was $12! Our bill was horrendous, and we vowed never to eat there again! We could have gone to The Town and Country (which is around the corner), paid half of what we paid, had a good meal, and been done in a quarter of the time! Lesson learned. Later, when I spoke to my brother he related a similar story, and likewise my mother told me of her bad experience at the Countryside Inn. I just wish I would have spoken to them before we went and found out for ourselves. Hopefully this review will help you avoid making the same mistake.

I agree with kevin! I dont think they care....first we waited to be seated (only three tables with customers)... a couple came in after us..then they seated us all... we got r drinks ,place are orders... now the wait was on! Ten minutes want by (waiting for salads) I look over at the couple that came after us, and there eating a salad.. so we still sitting waiting...finally 10 mins. Later ,I ask the waitress if we were going to get are salads! Her reply was ,"its will be out in min. (REALLY! ) S o are salad comes out along with the other couples dinner...Now, were waiting for r dinner...wait wait wait (21 mins later) Oh, by the way. The other couple left...Were the only ones in the place! Surf and turf we order....Ok Im done,not going any further! ! They need to find a good cook and waitresses that care! Steak not are way and lobster well done...not comming back!

An excellent meal. We had surf and turf and the steak and lobster were perfect. Our waitress was quite attentive, we had no complaints in that regard. A large menu selection that I imagine would cater to anyones taste. I found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality of the meal. I am looking forward to returning in the very near future and would recommend this restaurant to all.

Came here for a date as well as checking out the local bar scene on two separate occasions, and was met with great service and atmosphere both times. EXCELLENT diversity on their menu and made sure everything was to your standards. Exceptiional bar staff who made you feel welcome and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend if youre looking for a small place with reason to come back.

Had a lovely meal here with our two young children; menu is diverse, and the food was yummy, but not too fancy. Bar music was audible in the dining room which is (oddly) decorated with lots of mirrors. A large & good meal for a good price.

Good food. Reasonable prices. Huge selection on menu. I mean huge. Never saw a small restaurant with this much variety on the menu. Oh, by the way, the pierogis are top notch. Tasty yum yum. Get the cheese pierogi with fried onion.

The food was very good, the portions were generous. Family oriented business, dont be afraid to ask for Dessert Greg to serve you up a delicious piece of pie!
