VERY unhappy with both the food and service at Brauns. We went to Brauns yesterday and I was so disappointed by the meal that I felt I needed to do SOMETHING to alert others. First, our waitress was NOT friendly at all. She acted as if taking our order was too much work, as she was too good to need to be bothered. We waited over an hour to get our food that consisted of a dinner special, cheeseburger, and a burrito- not too difficult. The coleslaw was SO old and mushy that my husband actually spit it into his napkin after taking a bite because it was so bad. For 3 people our bill was 57.00 as the prices are QUITE high. I loved the old Brauns but this will be my last trip.

I first learned about Brauns several years ago when they were at the "Taste of Clarence" event. I tried their Hawg Wings (bone-in pieces of pork covered in BBQ sauce) and knew that I had to have them again. Ive been to the restaurant itself 3 times. I cant speak to the quality of the other menu items, because I keep ordering the Hawg Wings every time. They are excellent - and I love the barbecue sauce, which is sticky (in a good way) but not too sickly sweet. The atmosphere is of a very casual bar/restaurant, and the staff have always been very friendly. I cant recommend it enough.

Went to Brauns last night for a fish fry. It was one of the best ones I had in a while. The french fries were fresh cut, not cardboard crinkly ones. Usually I dont eat the sides. But the cole slaw and macaroni salad were out of this world. All the food made from scratch the main chef said. All the waitresses were cheerful and helpful. All for 12.50$, which filled up two of us. Keep it up Brauns.

I was there for Tuesday night trivia. Brauns now known as Mooneys, has your basic beer selection and comfort food array. The Mac n Cheese is their "thing" and is served in colossal proportions. I had an overall decent time.
