It was the perfect Sunday night dinner spot - weather was great so we sat outside - its a quiet wooded area that you would almost expect out of a restaurant in a river town ... service was good and prompt and the food was great - I think the menu had plenty of options and the drinks that we ordered were very good and also strong ... there was even a magician walking around to the different tables for some entertainment - I will definitely be going back there :)

This is a great, local concept, right in the actual train station. I go here several times a month. Sometimes with just my wife and other times with my kids. Its a versatile space to accommodate both "going out" and "hanging with kids." My kids love seeing the trains go by, eating pizza and chicken fingers, and coloring on the train menu. I love how accessible this is. The wings, fried mozzarella, and boxcar burger are great. My wife loves the salads.

Really cool spot. Great ambience and good food. The service is really friendly and helpful. The menu is pretty traditional American, but a notch above your average restaurant. We got the wings, fried mozzarella and cheese steak egg rolls. The food was very good, but nothing out of this world. The beer selection is great and staff is very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Exceptional staff served up unique, delicious dinner. We started with the Boxcar version of nachos--big portion and very delicious. We then shared a beet salad--fresh and they split it for us on two plates. The Kentucky Bourbon Ale is the beer to order to complement your Boxcar Burger. The chocolate mousse cake was excellent, as well. Just go!

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Boxcar! The location is super cool, for kids and adults alike. The food was delicious. Salads, burgers and chicken fingers all were served to our liking. The drinks were not watered down and very good. The service was spot-on. We will definitely be back!

This is one of those places that works best because of its incredibly convenient location. It is right at the train station. Good if you want to meet someone for a quick drink or snack. They also have magic on Sunday evenings.

Awesome bar and restaurant in walking distance of a great neighborhood. Perfect for kids, they love seeing the trains going by every couple minutes. Great spot for a family or just a night out for some drinks and good food!
