This is my favorite lunch spot in Secaucus, where I work. The food is always top quality. The only reason I took off a star is the inconsistency. Sometimes the mozz is the best mozz ever, and sometimes it tastes like a polyo string cheese, as if it wasnt worked enough. Sometimes the sandwiches are made beautifully and sometimes they are made really poorly, one sided, unbalanced, etc. This comes down to proper employee training. The one short older woman in there is a nightmare to deal with. All the young fellas are very nice though.

Went there years ago, arrived after lunch rush due to my schedule. Owner was in back, heard pans clanging, after a minute or two, I asked for him to help me. He came out, very pleasant, hands held up, was in back making fresh batch of mozzarella. Asked if I minded waiting for a fresh batch for my sandwich. Duh! Best food Ive had in a long time, certainly the freshest mozzarella. Ill be back sometime. My only regret was eating there once that week.

Very friendly staff overall great service has to be the best mozzarella in the state of New Jersey if not the tri-state area. Chicken cutlet sandwich is in a league of its own, also they can make any combo of sandwich or salad your heart desires. Two thumbs up!! If youre in the area stopping by sure bet for great food that will have you wanting more.

The chicken cutlet sandwiches are ridiculous. I dont care how your momma makes or used to make them. You want the goods on that....go here. My recommend is simple and quite delicioso....chicken cutlet sang on their great bread with raw onion, mayo, salt and pepper. The damn cutlets are so good, you wont miss the cheese yo!!

Not only is this a great Italian deli but they also provide a great service for senior citizens nearby who depend on them for groceries. Their lunch specials form a line that goes out the door. They are very well known for their mozz. Also reasonably priced.

Amazing sandwiches! Get the one with roasted peppers and chiken ans fresh mozzarella - yam! The sandwiches are a bit on the expensive side ( around $9-10), but it was enough for 2 meals for me, and I am 200lbs hungry guy!

We are visiting from NC. I have been eager to eat at a real Italian delicatessen, and Giovannis didnt disappoint. This southern Belle left very happy! We honestly could have split the sandwich because it was so big.
