If you are looking for a good NJ deli, do NOT bother going here. There are plenty others in the area. I ordered an Italian sub, with vinegar on the side. What I ended up getting was a hot-dog style pile of meat, two thin slices of iceberg lettuce, and a giant cup of oil on the side. So after waiting for 15 minutes (I was the only person in the store at noon...go figure), I ended up with a $10 pile of garbage. I noticed the owners have some sort of t-shirt business as well...maybe they should stick with that.

I have been frequenting the Mahwah Deli for many years. It is delicious and the service is prompt every time. The owners are very kind and the food is a reasonable price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a well made deli sandwich !
