This was just ok... A bit pricey for what you get. The kids meals are expensive! $6.95 for a cheeseburger (and fries) that was dry and no pickles. The cheeseburger should have been half the size for a child. $3.50 for a glass of apple juice! The $3.95 for the salad bar isnt worth it unless you are going to fill up on sub-par salad and take your meal home for later. They could use some lite dressings, and some healthier side salads and some fruit. It was VERY CLEAN and even the bathrooms were clean-- which I love! Clean bathrooms usually mean a clean kitchen!

We go here alot. Most sundays my twin sister refuses to let us go to any other diner. They have a really good beef barley soup. Once I had a chocolate cake here with a cup of coffee because I had already eaten and I just went for dessert. It was very good. It has 3 layers of cake. Last time I had a grilled chicken panini with pesto, roasted red peppers and cheese. It was very good. I asked for balsamic vinaigrette on the side it made the sandwich even better. Oh and always get the waffle fries.

I ride pass here a lot and always wanted to go in. Today i finally did because i wanted pancakes. Lets just say this placve is NO IHOP! The pancakes were just ok. I had blueberry which I could have made myself. I ordered egg whites with cheddar cheese and it came out with slices cheese on top of my eggs! Thats a no-no. I sent it back and they tried again which was not successful either. Who doesnt use shredded cheese?! The only thing that was good was my coffee,well it was great and my sausage.

Great place. The staff was nice and welcoming even though it was a crowded New Years morning. The menu is extensive and theyll have anything youd want to eat. And the prices are comparable to other diner and you get plenty of good for your money. And even my super picky eater son happily ate a variety of the food we ordered - which rarely happens. Will definitely be back.

This was an unfortunate dining experience for me & my crew. Our lasagna was more like taco filling. My chicken parm was not tasty at all. The pasta on my sisters order was not cooked through & was rubbery. Had to change & re-order her entree. The salad bar was the only good part of our meal. I never had this happen at the Sunrise before. Hope theyll get it together.

Happened upon this restaurant when looking for lunch off the Garden State Pkwy. Very pleased! Food was good, plentiful, and very inexpensive for amount of food provided. Estimate of $12/person is for drink + menu item from "specials" page, which includes entree, salad bar, soup, and desert. Would happily eat here again.

Friendly service and a wide selection of food to choose from, weather you are on a tight budget or have a lot of money to spend. They have a good selection for you. Only down side is the service can be a little slow to re fill drinks on not so busy days, but other then that great place to eat.

OK food. Service good. Except I could not finish my meal and they charged me For the take home containers for my leftovers. Never going there again. Who does that? I paid for it and I should be able,to take leftovers home without being charged again.

Just be mindful of how they ring you bill up... If you order veal parm ...and add shrimp ..its more money then if you order shrimp parm and add veal ...one would think its the same price.... Also you get more shrimp if you do it that way ..

All 4 dinners were horrible. Meat was ordered "mid/raid", came "well done". Coconut shrimp was overcooked and dry. Chef salad was 80% lettuce and almost no meats. Ribs were overcooked and corn muffin had fishy oily taist to it.

Good food and all and good service too but it seems like theyre all over the place and were confused with everything. I did go on Mothers Day which probably explains it hence the 4 stars. Its good you can come here
