Flavorless food, incorrect menu descriptions, disconnected staff. Food: My husband got a pork chop special. It basically tasted like cheap bbq sauce on over cooked pork chops, served with canned veggies and boxed mashed potatoes. The brown gravy had no taste and the portion was sad compared to the price. I got a chicken dish off their sauteed menu. Description said Garlic Marinara, what I got served was brown water with no taste. Anyone who cooks can tell you that just a dash of salt and pepper is enough to make most foods tasty, but nothing we received was seasoned at all. Staff: the wait staff seemed disinterested. I am not sure if this is due to their knowledge that the food is terrible, the reactions of customers who have had bad experiences, or just bad attitudes, but without more than one experience at this establishment I cannot make an honest assessment. I did notice that when our waitress came by, as long as we smiled she seemed genuinely happy to help us, but I got the feeling that she was waiting for us to complain. Overall, I would suggest avoiding this place unless you are in the mood to stuff yourself with flavorless things

Classic NJ diner next to a very scenic small river, which provides nice views if you sit in the dining area along the wall that has nice windows overlooking the water. Well staffed and prompt service, a huge diner menu of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner no matter what time of day it is. Great taylor ham, egg, & cheese sandwiches, a NJ classic. Try the excellent banana pancakes! They can make an occasional flub with the order, so be clear what you want. Highly recommend this diner over all, they work hard to make your experience a good one. After you eat, go outside by the river and check out the waterfowl that usually hang out on the banks, its a kick for the kids.

This by far the worst diner I ever ate at!! Omg!!! I had a steak, asked for med rare.. no lie it was fluorescent!! Waitress was supposed to bring me a French onion soup before my main course, never got and couldnt tell waitress because she never checked up on us.. While I was attempting to eat my steak I hear her say to another waitress "I forgot to get his soup".. Then she asked if I wanted the soup and when she brought it to me it was disgusting.. How you going to serve French onion soup with no cheese.. I got a cup of oily onion!! WORST PLACE EVER!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I recently visited this so called diner, which is an insult to the word diner....I read the other bad reviews and ratings and they are consistant with my visit....My friend had an omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and cheese. ...It was canned mushrooms and frozen spinach .....she didnt even eat it...she sent it back. ...no one even asked why.....bacon was rubber....I looked at my plate and said" hello is there any taste in there? To sum it up if I had 4 hands I would give this place 4 THUMBS DOWN !!!!!!

Great food! Consistent and tastes great. The only reason I hold the fifth star is the service. The waitresss seem to care more about theyre Facebook accounts than the customers and on multiple occasions Ive felt I was bothering them to ask for a refill on coffee or water. Thats not typical in New Jersey diners.

I love the salads. Service is great. The best around Mount olive, Hackettstown, long valley, Budd lake, Washington etc. Theyre always flexible when it comes to the food serving and substitutions. Love they have broccoli and spinach sauteed in garlic. Best ever!

Very good. The Burgers are fresh and I love that I can get a rare one and it comes out rare. Service is friendly and helpful. Its a good place to go for everybody. The menu is magnificent. So much to choose from. I recommend the Broiled sea scallops.

worst food since i try "Hooters" Service excellent panini cold, no taste at all veal parmesana overcook crisp fry under cheese . Sorry better eat McDonalds and cheaper. eldente is unknown definition of way to cook pasta.
