True, the place is not your typical Chilis or South of the Border. Its a mere six tables set in a small 12x16 front room of a 1 family structure home. Once seated, the server gets you started with a basket full of toasty hot corn tortillas and some pico de gallo style salsa. I suggest ordering a bowl of freshly made guacamole to go with the salsa & chips. There is no alcoholic beverages sold here. They do have bottled water, bottled Coke, 7-Up, ginger ale, apple juice, pineapple juice, peach and pear nectars and lemon & peach Snapple. If you prefer, you may bring your own frozen Dailys, pre-chilled Smirnoffs Ice, or Jose Cuervo ready to drink margarita. If you want to start with an appetizer, try the Marisco (seafood) soup. The portion is large enough to share, but wont want to once you get started. Its really very good. For dinner my wife had the chicken stuffed burritos with Mole sauce. She was blown away not only by the huge serving, but she stated that the combination of fresh herbs and spices enhanced the flavors of the meat and grains to a level of WOW! She gave me a taste and I have to agree, it was fabulous. I ordered the Chicken-Beef & Shrimp in a moderately spicy Poblano cream sauce. This too was outstanding. The shrimp were Tiger shrimp size and they were sweet and tender. Not skimpy either. I had two juicy chicken breast strips and several slivers of moist, savory beef. In addition my entree came with a side of yellow rice, refried beans and 5 warm flour tortillas. Neither one of us were able to finish our meals. My wife had her 2nd burrito wrapped to go. I had it for lunch the next day :-9 Trust me when I say that you wont be able to budge from your table for at least 20 minutes after your meal. For desert they offer Flan, a light caramel flavored egg custard with a drizzle of burnt sugar syrup. The Tres Leches cake is white cake infused with evaporated, condensed and regular milk. The cake is then refrigerated long enough for the milk combination to be absorbed. The recipe doesnt call for frosting because the milk blend give it the right amount of sweetness and flavor necessary to stand up to a tall glass of icy cold milk and perfectly complement any exceptional brand of coffee you care to brew. Other desert choices are: Lime Jello with fruit cocktail, pineapple sundae, Mango ice cream, apple pie a la mode and key lime pie. Presentation here is plain & simple. And everything is made to order. So bring your appetite, a little patience and a positive attitude. You wont regret it.

Dont let the tiny locale discourage you. Yes, this is basically 4 tables in someones living room, but the food is delicious, authentic, with generous portions, service is courteous and prompt, etc. Most of all: the food is great. One of our favorite restaurants.
