We decided to go here on a whim. We figured since it was close by and had a craving for Mexican food, it would be a win/win. WRONG! We walked in the front door and waited to be greeted but no one came. I finally asked one of the waiters there and she said that we can go ahead and pick a seat, first red flag. We sat down at the table and waited a good 6 or 7 minutes before anyone came up to us with menus and silverware, second red flag. We then waited another 8 minutes for someone to come back to ask us what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. We put in our order all at once. He proceeded to bring complimentary nachos with salsa along with our drinks. After he left our table, we waited a good 35 minutes for someone to either a)bring us our food or b)offer us something else to drink, but no one came. In this time, a party of 2 and a party of 4 came in to the restaurant. In the 35 minutes that we were sitting there, these tables who came in after us were 1)greeted and seated at their respective tables, 2)promptly served their drinks and complimentaries, 3)their entree order was promptly taken, 4)their entree was physically served. Now, Im an extremely patient person, but seeing this prompt service to everyone else but our table really left me angry beyond belief. My boyfriend finally got up, went to the waiter, told him we no longer wanted the food, explained why, and offered to pay for the drinks. The waiter rudely responded that the food would be ready in a few but if we really wanted to leave, the drinks would be on the house. Geez, thanks! I would never go here or recommend it to anyone. Personally, I think this was a race issue. Everyone in the restaurant was white. I am Indian and my boyfriend is black. Ironic that the only minorities in the restaurant were treated this way, but that is for you to judge. Do yourself a favor and go to Rivera May just around the corner. The food is amazing and the staff is a lot more welcoming.

I work at All American Ford in Hackensack. Ive ordered from Mi Rancho a few times before and the delivery was prompt. However, today, it took almost two hours to get my order. My wifes hard tacos were soft tacos once they finally arrived. My enchiladas were also cold. If the driver, as he said, actually got lost (although how he doesnt know where a large car dealership is on a major thoroughfare in town is beyond me), he needs a GPS device of some sort in his car to ensure he actually gets tips. That being said, they did own up to the error and said theyd send fresh replacements, so Im trying to not be too hard on them. Hopefully this will be the exception to the rule.

Fresh ingredients, fast and friendly service. Nothing outstanding - this is typical Oaxacan fare, not spicy Tex-Mex. One unpleasant surprise ... they put BROCCOLI in the steak burrito. Ive eaten a lot of burritos in a lot of restaurants, and have never encountered broccoli. As a confirmed hater of the aforementioned vegetable, this was not a pleasant surprise. I didnt think to ask if they put broccoli in their burritos, in the same way I dont specify "no anchovies, please" when ordering an Ice Cream Sundae!

The only reason why I am giving this restaurant a four-star rating is only because they had one guy doing the cash register taking orders over the phone taking orders from the patrons in the dining room bringing out the food to the patrons in the dining room all by himself and we had to wait at a very long time to get our dinner but it was worth it in a way per se because the food was delicious but the owner should get a waitress theres no question about that

The staff was friendly and the food was great. I ordered chimichangas and my friend ordered enchiladas. The plates were huge and full of the main course, rice, beans and toppings. You get free chips and salsa--yum! We also had the fried ice cream --wow, definitely make room for dessert. It was pretty empty when we went, so its nice and peaceful there. They have a large flat-screen TV too if you want to watch TV.

From the outside and the inside decor it looks like a small ordinary Mexican place. BUT....the food was priced very well and the proportions were overwhelming and great! (We took lots of food home) I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Make sure you visit this place, just dont judge the book by the cover until you taste the food! Also, was able to accommodate my vegan friend!

Well Ive had food here before. Maybe like two years ago. But this time around the food was terrible. I ordered the chicken chimichangas and they looked and tasted like they were from the frozen isle at Costco, actually ShopRite. Because Costco does have good frozen food. I know they fajitas are superb but nothing else is. Whats a disappointment.

Food is really great; delicious, good size portions, attentive wait staff. Ambiance leaves a lot to be desired; its really a diner with some Mexican decorations. But like I said, the food is awesome and the portions usually leave enough for a second meal. BYOB is a bonus if you remember to bring something as it keeps the cost down.

Accidentally ordered here for pickup instead of from their Hackensack spot. Just as delicious. Very pleasant employee. Would recommend either location without hesitation. The food is amazing and their mango lemonade smooth. Ive eaten there three times within the last month after first trying it and have only had good experiences.

Good food at a reasonable price. Had the carne asada Fajitas delivered and really enjoyed them. They came with a small bag of tortilla chips and medium sized containers of salsa and guacamole/sour cream Only complaint was that it was slightly cold when it got here but its a miserable rainy day so that was not mi ranchos fault

I order from this place all the time and its always great! First off for a delivery the food always comes hot and crispy (if applicable). The food is really tasty, great portion size, and really flavorful. I recommend this place to anyone that likes Mexican food. I sadly have not been inside the restaurant.

Hmmm not as good as it looks, drive about half a mile and get better and cheaper prices, they charge $2.00 more than the competition for regular tacos actually for almost everything, if it were good then ok but its not, please do remember thats just my opinion.

You must go! I worked on Main Street for years and ordered from all places in the neighborhood, but this is the best food around! Bistecs and arroz con pollo are delicious. Large portions, very inexpensive.
