I used to go for some drinks and appetizers with my co workers and friends , the wings and quesadillas are good. They put spinach dip in the quesadilla which Ive never seen before and I like that. However, this time will be the last time I will ever go to the embarrassment to Irish food Shannon rose. First of all, I was sad to see that my favorite servers Sam and Leoni dont work there any more. It was my first time taking my husband here so we decided to try the shepherds pie and corned beef and cabbage. What a mistake. I felt like I was going to be sick. The Corned beef was so disgusting I almost threw up. I got diarrhea for two days. I alerted my server who was awesome but the manager not so much. I dont remember her name but she had blonde curly hair and a big nose and she was not too sympathetic. I will not return

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday night and it was amazing...the decor is amazing and it felt like a true irish restaurant. The bartender told us there was going to be an irish band on Friday night. Its currently Friday night at 10:30 and Im sitting at the bar - no music other than top 40/house music. Truly disappointed. If I wanted this music Id be at a typical club not a restaurant / pub that prides themselves on their irishness. Weekends are obviously a fail in my book and Ill be looking for a true irish pub. Never coming here again. And whats with the bartenders with the wrist bands full of pens? Dumb. Bar and restaurant is full of club going guidos and guidettes. The only thing irish is the decor and Smithwicks. I feel like Im in a Jersey Shore episode. Again...FAIL!

Loved it here. Service was prompt and friendly, and though its a bigger restaurant, it has a nice cozy feeling. Didnt order anything from the bar, but they have a huge selection of lagers, stouts & ales. Reasonably priced, and the two dishes we ordered were delicious, and portions generous. Hamburger was juicy, and was fresh. I got the chicken with artichoke hearts on a bed of sauteed spinach - the breading was light and crispy, and the lemon wine sauce was lovely. I do know they have a lot of great vegetarian choices, and my friends daughter & her friends go there specifically for them. Highly recommend!

We came here for the Mothers Day brunch and overall it was very average to me. We had a later reservation towards the end of brunch, so the by the time we had gone to get food, there werent many options left and clear the food had been sitting. I understand its the end of brunch, but then dont take the later reservation if the experience changes. Also, the waitress was very nice but could have cared less about the table. Didnt really clear plates, left menus on the table, etc. The others I was with enjoyed this place, but I wasnt a big fan. It was just average to me.

As we were passing through New Jersey on our way back to New York, we found ourselves hungry. We Google Mapped a local place, and were on our way there, when we caught sight of the Shannon Rose. We changed course and popped in. Were so very ecstatic that we did! As a vegetarian, I had a hard time choosing an entree, as there were so many options! Thank you so much! Great food! Great atmosphere! Phenomenal service! Well be driving the 208 miles back down to eat here again, and very soon!

The drinks are good here, but the food is not good. Been there a number of times, and every thing I have ever ordered has been greasy and not well made. The Reuben had more bread than corned beef. Usually have good music on Friday nights that starts early, and if you want to go there for some drinks and listen to the music, would recommend it for that. But stay away from the food. There are much better Irish places in the area

Burger was soggy, tasteless, and falling apart. The rest of my group had decent food, until the end. The waiter never asked us about slitting the checks even though it was a group of over 15 people. When we got ready to leave he said that "he couldnt separate the checks" what kind of restaurant cant do that? Such an easy task. So we were forced to put it on one card and then all get cash elsewhere.

It was very exclude where we were sitting , our waiter was great he took the time to discuss the entrees to us . The food is amazing and drinks as well . We will definitely come back again .

Although I havent been here for a few months, I love their beer and food selection. Ill never pass up a good Irish breakfast, here. Although the beers arent the cheapest, theyre good. A nice place to blow off some steam, and with live performances every now and then, you could be exposed to some nice music to boot.

A very good restaurant that serves Irish dishes and drinks. It has a casual feel to it and it is quite welcoming. The staff is very nice and the place is clean. They have a rather large menu and the prices are decent. Not the best place I have ever been to, but I would defiantly come back!

If you are going to call yourself an Irish Pub, teach your bar staff how to draw a glass of Guinness. I know I need to be patient when I order a Guinness; the bartenders need to be patient as well. Decent but unexceptional food. Cliched decor. Not terrible, but nothing exciting either.

Unable to carry on a conversation.....the music was deafeningly loud, and despite asking management and the band multiple times to have mercy, they continued to overpower the room. It was painfully ridiculous and ruined our evening. Maybe they just want the 20 year olds......

Great place to enjoy a selection of craft beers (rotating group of beers plus the regular list) and good service. They have a very good food menu as well - excellent Dublin Shepherds Pie. Another plus is that all of the bar stools have backs which is I appreciate the comfort.

Theres a lot to like here. Its a comfortable space. The service is very friendly. The food is good, I like the wings, the flatbreads and the burgers (a pint of Guinness is on the snack menu.. funny). They have one of the largest selection of craft beer in the area.

Came here for lunch with my mom, sister, and baby nephew. The gentleman at the host desk was super friendly. He was personable and accommodated all of our requests with ease and no hesitation. The food was fresh, unique, and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive.

The service was not the greatest. We ordered 5 appetizers and some drinks. The food came out fairly promptly, but we had to ask where our waitress was when we needed more to drink. The food was average. It was trivia night so the room was crowded and noisy.

Nice place been here a few times, done the one in Clifton a lot as well. I prefer this one because not as loud or crowded. A bit Pricey for average food and drinks. More like a place to meet friends, grab a table throw back a few and grab a quick bit to eat.
