This place is iconic in the area but its only okay. The drink prices are very good, but the bartenders, not so much. They (especially the females) need a personality. Being a bartender is such a "people person" type of job and they are all lacking in that area. There seem to be lots of regulars that come here and obviously they get the better service at the bar. The food is decent pub/bar food. Nothing spectacular and nothing terrible. The atmosphere is also only okay. I am giving it 3 stars because this is where my boyfriend and I met on a date for the first time, so it has a sentimental place in my heart. Other than that, its eh.

This place is hit or miss. If you get a good seat and a good waiter, its amazing. The food is wonderful. Last time I was there, we had a horrible waitress who never returned to the table to see how the food was -- turned out my husband and our friend got the wrong steaks (the rare got mixed up with the well done). We also were told it was a 40 minute wait, which ended up being a two-hour wait. We were there from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.

We had never been to the area before a family funeral service drew us there. We had to get a table for 16 people and they accommodated us without a blink. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and I wish we lived closer to go again.

One of my favorite pubs in NJ. Growing up in Cranford this was the go to place. Love the downstairs with the cozy fireplace. Plenty of tvs to keep your eye on the fame. Friendly bartenders. Plenty of parking options.

Love sitting at the bar or outside! Casual laid back atmosphere with friendly wait and barstaff. Free chips and pretzels are a bonus when sipping on a DELICIOUS vodka watermelon lemonade!
