Honestly, this is the worst Indian restaurant that I have seen in New Jersey. The first time I was here, the food was terrible. But still I gave a second try, and it was worse than the first visit. They serve left overs. And for the buffet part, they wont even serve non-veg biryani (it doesnt matter if you are a vegan) but charge $9.99 which is ridiculous. Of course some restaurants wont serve non-veg biryani with buffet, but at least we can get 4 to 5 non-veg dishes. Here you hardly get 2-3 varieties, that too one will be from the past day. If you are looking to visit this place, I would suggest to go Center Drive on Plainsboro Rd, which is a mile away where you can find Indian, Thai, Bangkok, Pizzeria and lot of other restaurants.

This place was very disappointing. I had the vegetarian thali. The soup that came as a starter was poor, it tasted like sambar that had been modified to be soup. The aloo gobi that came with the thali was smelly, the cauliflower was old, the motter paneer was edible and the yellow dal also ok, but the bread was stiff and the rice not very hot. My wife ordered paneer makhani, and it was ridiculously sweet. The waiter took my order at the start for tea and desert, which came with the thali, but forgot both. We waited forever for them, and the tea was watery and sweet, the golab jamun tasted like it was made from a mix. We paid over $30 for small portions of poor food. I could not recommend this place to anyone.

I have been to this restaurant many time because i feel good visiting this place again and again. Great food with good service. This is one of the best restaurant in Princeton area. I had there buffet many times, I love the way they serve (Hot naan), Pani Poori and Dosa on the table. The food is very delicious and lot of variety. I am impress by there service and the friendly environment. The other day i went there was a party going on and they have invited the beautiful actress Konkana sen. I spoke with her she was very happy with the food they served. I would like to say that every one should visit this place once you will love it.

Flavorful food, good service, reasonable prices, okay atmosphere. My husband and I ate there on Labor Day (2011) and the food & service was wonderful! The garlic naan had small chunks of real garlic, the palak paneer was creamy, with soft squares of cheese, and the chicken tikka was sizzling, with large chunks of white meat chicken, perfectly spiced, along with onions and peppers. Weve eaten at most of the Indian restaurants in the Princeton area, and this one really is by far the best. Both Masala Grill and Cross Culture have nicer atmospheres, but they are quite a bit more expensive and the food is not as good as Indian Hut.

We went to this restaurant about a month ago and have been meaning to write a review for "indian hut " as we found the whole experience really great. I went with my husband and we chose to do the buffet, which was so yummy and the service was fantastic. At one point one of the servers came over and gave us a fresh basket of naan which was a nice touch. My favourite was chicken briyani (so incredibly good) and also the spicy gobi manchurian , actually we all really enjoyed all of the dishes. They had the best selection of really fresh dishes, I will definately be stopping by every time I am in plainsboro or princeton area

As of now, I didnt never rate any restaurants food. But After Eating the Sundays Lunch Buffet, I was really feel very bad, about the food they serve. The Chicken Tandoori pieces were not cooked properly, it clearly showing RAW CHICKEN and getting smell. Even the selection of the items for the Buffet is not worth for 9.95 USD, when compare with ABHIRUCHI & HOYASALA. Even they charged my 2.5 yrs kid, which she didnt eat anything. It a worst Authentic Indian Food, I didnt never seen in New Jersey....guys dont go there and eat raw chicken.... Why I gave single star is...ONLY liked Chat & pani poori...

Worst food I ever had in my life. Indian Hut at plainsboro claiming that they have South Indian chef who doesnt know the difference between the dishes he made . New owners are very rude and they dont know how to talk to customers. Foods taste yukeee. Suggestion to Plainsboro residents to think twice before you decide to go there.. its waste of time and money and dont spoil your help eating spoiled food . Note to owners- if you want to succeed change your attitude and mind your words before you talk to your customers. There is no Zero to select so I am Rating this with 1 star

I had been there couple of times because of lack of Indian restaurants in Plainsboro but this one disppointed like hell. After eating there with my friend he got heartburn and I got bad stomach. The next time I went, the food was too spicy and the chicken was uncooked. They have limited items in the buffet menu and there is improper lighting so that you cannot see what you are eating...like RAW CHICKEN. It was a bad experience both the times and I am not going there anymore.

A mouse ran across the floor under a table as the waiter was bringing out the food. This totally freaked me out. The waiter asked if we wanted the food to go instead and asked where we saw it. Later (we actually stayed and ate-- it was good, but I was very uncomfortable and kept my feet on the seat), I saw a sticky mousetrap near their buffet bar and verified with the waiter that it was, indeed, a mouse trap. I wont go back here.

Ordered for pick up simple dishes like matter paneer and dal tadka - tasted Horrible. Both dishes where water downed. Even if we say mild, mild does not mean no flavor and just add water to the entree. We got more rice then the main dish. Placed order online and went inside immediately and food took ten minutes too bring out which makes me wonder did they just defrost the food and added some water to it. Bad disgusting flavor.

After also sampling the nearby Crown of India (which I also gave a good review), I was impressed with Flavor of India. I ordered the Chicken Makhni and Paneer Kulcha bread and considered both dishes to be slightly better than their counterparts in Crown of India. The chicken was more tender and the Naan was more flavorful. The service was also affable and responsive (contrary to a previous review on this forum).

It was waste of my time and money on top of very bad experience. Not sure if the management is care to review comments and rectify issues. The new management is very rude and they do not know how to talk to customers. Food was too bad. Front desk folks are not ready to accept customer suggestions or compliants. He is unfit to run the restuarent. I do not recommend folks to go to this place.

The food is always good. I enjoy the drink Mango Lapse. I was there for a take out today around 1:15pm, and had the drink to go. When I got back to work and open the drink container, it was just over half full. This is the first time I received so little. When I called them after 10 rings the man told me that there was nothing that he could do. Always, check prior to paying.
