This is absolutely positively the worst IHOP in America. I swear Im not being sarcastic. I base this off of several random experiences. I live right near here so I saw when it opened. I have been there a total of 10 times. 3 good and 7 horrible. Those are my personal odds. I work out at the gym around the corner at night so often I went there to get a nice steak and eggs. DEAD hungry, so maybe Im biased but damn. I go in there alone. All u have is one job! 7 TIMES on different occasions my simple steak and scrambled frikkin eggs with cheese order has been butchered. I SWEAR I am not joking. I know ppl will say why keep going back. Because Im a damned fool. But never again I will just have to deal with the fact that they cant handle that even though theyre the only damned place that open around me at that time and I DONT feel like cookin after freakin workin out. Dammit. Lol I just hadda get that out. I was like u know what. Ppl will know about this!

Me and my friend came here for breakfast he ordered egg white garden omlet I ordered steak and eggs.(steak medium rare) the steak was GRAY inside not red at all and my friend didnt get egg whites he got a regular garden omelet. I sent the steak back and the manager came up to our table not to apologize but to question why we sent it back again with an attitude. On top of that our "never empty coffee pot" was empty and never refilled halfway through the meal. They still charged for the steak and acted like they did us a favor by not charging for the replacement. Never coming back here again they give ihop a bad name.

I was the first one to call everyone I know and tell them how great the Paterson IHOP was when it first opened. Needless to say the service has drastically declined. I ordered Chicken and Waffles and after waiting patiently for my food to arrive I bit into ICED COLD CHICKEN. I called the Manager over because I could not believe this was happening and her response was "this is the second time this has happened since we changed the Chicken." She then proceeded to ask me if I wanted them to refry my Chicken. I am truly done and will never step back into this establishment. Board of Health do your job.

All of the times Ive come here I only had good service 2 times. My most recent experience wasnt that great. I ordered Turkey bacon and since I didnt specify 2 or 4 strips, I was brought 2 LINK TURKEY SAUSAGES. After this error was corrected the waitress brought 2 pieces of Turkey bacon and then after about 5 minutes I received the other 2. This happened because the cook not chef, gave them to somebody else. The pancakes the my girlfriend ordered werent that great either. Id strongly recommend eating someplace else or just staying home and making your own breakfast.

Bad experience if you are Latino dont go racist people that work here I was waiting to be seat for 10 minutes looks like the hostess was having a problem with a check but still waiting dying for steak and eggs but guess what after I was ignoring for that long not even a hi somebody came after me surprised the hostess finally say hi but not to us to them and you kno what I saw one of the checks that she had at the counter and a check for 40 dollars she had a 2.50 dollars tip Im a waiter and she could get much better tip stupid racist God bless her

I have never been an IHOP fan. I accompanied my friend who wanted to try the place out. I was not hungry so I ordered a coffee and the fruit bowl. They charged me an astronomical $3.99 for a 3" bowl of fruit!!! The service was slower and the servers seemed disinterested. I would go anyplace else before IHOP. In the daytime, A&S Luncheonette or the Jury Box Luncheonette is right across the street. In fact, even the dive cafe in the mall is better than rubbery IHOP. At least its real food and not rubbery egg mixture from a carton.

My experience was a pleasant one. Even though they made mistake with my friend order and i must say that I was very impressed with how they corrected it. So i give the waitress, waiter, cook, hostess and more importantly the owner. 2thumbs up guys and gals. Keep moving forward. I must say I read a few of the reviews and I did laugh especially at that G.Ginesi character, what a joke lmao at him hahahahaaaa. Sorry but i couldnt resist. Great job!! IHOP of Paterson!!!!!

Those 3 stars is for Wanda my waitress today she was so polite, she has a very good customer service But the food were horrible, I always come it here,everything good but today it was bad,I pay because of Wanda I didnt want for her to feel bad, but you have to check what they doing in that kitchen. We paying for the food, we dont come to eat for free. Thank you Wanda for your service, they should give you a raise.

Horrible servers and horrible service , didnt care about customers. The morning we came to eat the servers placed dirty glassware on the table, right away I called the manager to complain about our filthy glassware and by surprise he didnt do anything and let us walked out the restaurant. I dont recommend this place , very very disappointed how they did not care about us as a customer . They need better staff.

I love this ihop. It is one of the best restaurants that i have been to in a long time. I like the decor of the place and the service is great. The food got to the table in a reasonable amount of time and it was delicious. Even if the server is busy one of the managers like Rosalyn is there to help you and bring you anything you need.i will definitely be going to eat here again

Im so unsatisfied with your service.My sisters and I were waiting for someone to take our order like for 25 minutes and Bodoby didnt take our order. 3 people came after us and immediately the personal take their order , so we left and your employees didnt even asked the reason of why we were living so unsatisfied with your service.

This place is the WORST IHOP in the franchise. Consistently provides HORRIBLE service and should close to provide proper training to their staff. Its cold food, sat 45 minutes before anybody took my drink order. At other IHOP its 45-1hr for dinning in, we sat in this restaurant for two hours only to receive cold food. Never again.
