I will never go back to that place. I ordered a grilled vegetable wrap,it looked like the vegetables had been warmed up in the microwave it really had no taste at all. But what really got me upset was when my wife and my kids told me about their food, my wife ordered a steak wrap, well the meat was uncooked, yeah raw, it looked cooked on the outside but as soon as she started eating it you could see the meat wasnt cooked, it was nasty, the kids ordered chiken tenders, and once again it looked like they just got the chicken from the freezer to the microwave it was still cold on the inside and hot on the outside, we left the food, neither my wife nor my kids were able to eat it. It wouldve been nice if the manager had apologized, instead of trying to justify himself. was the worst diner Ive ever been, i wish there was less than one star so I could go lower But one is the minimum

To preface this, I worked in a couple restaurants in HS and college so I understand how unreasonable and difficult some patrons can be. I am not one of those people. Long story short, the cheesecake was disgusting (tasted like a mushy vanilla pudding) and didnt have a graham cracker crust like the picture showed it would, so I politely sent it back after taking two small bites and the waitress (who was great) asked me if I would like anything else instead. I declined. She gave me the check which had the cheesecake on there so I politely asked if it could be removed. The manager (or whoever he was) gave me such a hard time. It was embarrassing. I wasnt asking for the world here. Dont treat your customers like jerks when they were pleasant to you. It gives you a loss of future business and a bad review online.

As far as diners go, this has to be the worst one I have been to in NJ. Beyond the lackluster customer service - which was the least of this diners problems - the food was disgusting and barely edible. I ordered a panini, and it came out cold and barely pressed - just slopped together with zero flavor. My boyfriend ordered the chicken caesar wrap, and the chicken tasted like cleaning products. It doesnt seem like anyone actually cares about the quality or the food preparation. The establishment is also dirty; we were seated in a sticky booth next to a bucket of dirty water. I tried to overlook things, but the overall experience left me nauseated. The cherry on top of the cake was an upset stomach after the meal. Theres other places in the area - save your money and eat somewhere else.

Best tasting dishes would be the club sandwiches. The meatloaf dinner is bland but they serve enough for two adults so we all ways split this. Biggest problem here is that everything tastes dull. The omelettes for instance have zero "life" in them. They look like they were pressed on a Panini grill and all the juices were squeezed out of them. Dry. Flavorless. The hamburger buns are not bread-like. More like some ersatz fake material used for rubber tires. Where do they even get such bad buns? Oh and the burger meat is flat and juiceless. I cant eat here very often as there are so many better choices in the area and there is no real excuse for a diner to serve the classics with so little flavor. Boring.

Disgraceful!!!! Went for a late breakfast and was the worse experience I have ever had. The waiter actually told me not to order sausage for my daughter cause she is fat and sausage isnt good for her. The silverware had dried up food on it. My coffee cup had gunk on the inside which of course I didnt see until I got half way through it. The pancakes where dry, the toast had butter on one side and the milk given for the coffee had to have been sitting out for hours! The kicker after telling the management about what calling my daughter fat they could care less. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely last time going to this place. Very loud and disrupting group of unsupervised kids were seated at a table behind my family and the manager did minimal to control them claiming that their parents are customers and dont want to lose their busines. I had two young children with me and you wouldnt even know they were there. This place is discriminative and quite sure if we were the right complexion our complaint would have been handled better. Even a retired officer gets no respect in this place. So worried of losing business, well they lost ours but it may not matter because we are educated colored people.

THE best diner in New Jersey! Their matzo ball soup is incredible, as good as my homemade! Really is more than a diner, everything on the menu is top quality no matter what you order! The wait staff is friendly and helpful; even during rush times there is no pressure to hurry you up. And the chefs are excellent and innovative with the daily specials along with the regular menu. Their desserts are also beyond delicious but I usually get it to take home for later. They also serve cocktails and make a great Cosmopolitan.

I stopped off here on my way from Wayne, NJ to Maryland. The traffic was terrible so I had a nice, leisurely dinner. I thought the food was typical diner food, I had a club sandwich and it was a club sandwich, exactly what I had expected., I didnt think the prices were terribly high, but I am not local to the area. I got very good service, my waiter was very attentive, even so he didnt bother me too much. Perfect. I would definitely stop by again now that I know it is there.

The food was good but Ill never go back. I remeber the waitress becouse she spelled her name the same as mine. The girl was rude and clearly on drugs. She hit on my boyfriend who laughed in her face. When we were finished we went to the bar accross the street the girl followed us there and before she was kicked out for being under 21 she offered my man sex for money.

Horrible service! Our waitress didnt say more than 3 words to us, until it was time for the check! Passed us by several times, our orders were wrong, and didnt bother checking up on us! Im usually a VERY good tipper, but this was the worst service Ive ever received. My tip: if you dont like your job in customer service, find something else!!!

The cookies, they are moldy. They sold me a giant, moldy cookie. Thats right, a moldy cookie. There was mold on it. Mold, I say. Mold. It wasnt "oh hey that might be mold" moldy. It was "this cookie is furry" moldy. Though, I ordered it to go. So, I didnt notice until I got home. Go the extra mile to the Tick Tock.

My wife and i always liked the food & service there, our son and daughter go there with their friends from high school. They never had a bad thing to say about how the staff treated the teenagers there. We feel its a nice place for the kids to have fun a healthy meal talk to friends & feel safe.
