I guess one star because the girl on the phone was nice and the Brazilian cook .I called 10:22 pm to order for delivery I saw on their dam gallery a picture of a freaking penne with chicken looked like cheese in a wrap but they said they didnt have it so I tried ezplainning I really wanted that it was on their galllery I even sent the picture and the cook said hed look to make it .So I called back to check if he saw it and if he had it and the girl picks up the phone says it was what I was looking I guess Im freaking blind she said it was for catering and it was just penne with chicken on plates add anyways a rude ass guy picks the phone says what you want I said delivery he says we are closed when on their menu says they close at 11 pm !!! I wasted my time never would I go to a please with no consideration! If you dont have the dammmm food dont post it on your site and I only explained what I wanted because they allowed me next time say no I dont have it and no we are not making it !!!

I lived in the Ironbound for years and always came here as a kid! I went back and seen that its still owned by the same family which was a breathe of fresh air! Food was delicious as it always was ..but make sure you order to share because their portions are huge! I ordered the Penne Vodka with Chicken and they gave me garlic bread on the house (they made it on Portuguese roll for me because you can only get these rolls in the Ironbound!) You would never think a diner knows their Italian cooking but believe me, it deserves 5+ stars! Had the strawberry cheesecake for dessert which tasted as amazing as it looked! Again, a huge portion! It felt good to be home! Thanks, Andros!!

I had to take a picture of my meal. After waiting 2 hours for it to be delivered. And then being told that they had sold out of the main reason I wanted to try this restaurant. I got the pasta, The fetechini alfredo had little black things on top. I thought it was some sort of sauté edible. But upon tasting it, it was the scrapings of the bottom of the skillet, Hard and bitter. The noodles were covered in oil not white sauce, and the noddles themselves were dried out and discolored. Ive never written a good review, but this food and experience was so bad. Its a first time for everything. The best thing about this meal was the young girl who took my order.

So this place has a nice vibe and overall ambiance I went there at about 3 am. The reason for the low rating is because I order mozzarella sticks and the sticks at the bar and they were not cooked through. They were cold and one of them, still frozen. I also ordered a breakfast egg meal to go. This meal was also mediocre, the home fries were burned and the eggs and bacon a bit soggy with grease. So if you go here, go for the vibe and the friendly wait staff, dont go for the food!

I liked absolutely nothing I had a burger and french fries and after the meal there was a roach on the wall next to me. The manager found out and did absolutely nothing about it. Oh wait there was something done... the cook came out and killed it. I havent been so grossed out in my life! Never again! I asked the server and by the look on her face its happened before!

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars. The food delivered was REALLY good. After waiting for an hour for my food, one of my items (dessert) was left off of the order and was not delivered to my hotel. I texted my delivery driver (who I gave a decent tip to) and he didnt fix the situation after responding once. Improve your service, and youd have 5 stars.

My experience was horrible .I ordered the "Jumbo shrimp scampi". Yea okay. Shrimp were small and tasted like rubber. Sauce mightve been good if chunks of burnt garlic werent overpowering the taste. My fiance got the salmon. That had good flavor. He enjoyed it for the most part.Although it was very bland.

Just ordered delivery from them asked how long it would be they said 30 min an hour and a half later food comes then look at the bill over charged 5 dollars with no explanation counting all the extra 1 dollar and 2 dollar charges this is now the second time it has happened and will not order again

very poor delivery service. First the driver arrived wthout my pizza, he only had the wings and the dessert. when he came back with the pizza it was cold. Worst of all, the cheese and toppings had all slid off the pizza and were piled on the side of the box. Stay away.

The staff is awesome This is a family owned business and you get to know the entire family. Ive been coming here since the 1980s and never had a problem. This place is great for Sunday morning breakfast, my wife and I are regulars for their pancakes and omelets

So I called Andros, a 24 hour diner, at 11:53pm Sunday night because I wanted to pick up a Gyro platter to go. I was told on the phone "We dont do take out." I guess they dont like money.

Classic location with alot of Newark Heritage as a diner. The menu is pretty good and they have some decent desserts to choose from.
