The purpose of our visit to the restaurant was to arrange for catering of a baby shower for our son, daughter-in-law and soon to be grand child. We were met by the manager, Nestor, who was very pleasant, knowledgeable of the process and helpful. When we asked for a clarification of some of the ingredients he quickly provided us with a sample for us to taste. A waiter then appeared with water for us without us having to ask. Nestor stepped us through the process of ordering the catering and made suggestions that we found very helpful. He answered many of our questions before we had the chance to ask them. On the day of our event the delivery team of two people arrived exactly on time and had everything they needed to set up a very attractive and functional display of the food we ordered and the other included items. They provided everything that was needed right down to the water for the Sterno heating trays. The price for the quality and quantity of or order was extremely reasonable. As far as the food itself was concerned, it was excellent flavor, quality and quantity. We were concerned that some of our guests would not appreciate Mexican food so we backed it up with other choices for them to have an alternative but we found that our fears were unfounded. The Mexican food was a bigger hit than the alternative. It was a bigger hit because it was GOOD! It was not too spicy for the timid eater but the flavor was terrific. We are still getting compliments on the food and the party as a whole and it has been a couple weeks. I would not hesitate to eat at the restaurant nor would I have any fears of ordering catering from On the Border. In fact, Im trying to work a visit into our dining out schedule right now. Cant wait! Thank you to On the Border, Nestor and the staff of the Mount Laurel, NJ restaurant for helping to make our affair very nice and easy.

I visit this location frequently, and I usually have a pleasant experience. This time was different, it was very crowded, the hostess was visibly frustrated, and my server was very nasty. Her name was Samantha. I realize she was overwhelmed, but she was rolling her eyes, and slamming our dishes onto the table. She put in our drink orders and disappeared for almost 30 minutes. When she returned, she forgot my mothers drink, and then acted like she was inconvenienced after we asked her about it. It also took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out, (and there were only 3 of us). Im also in the restaurant industry, so I understand how difficult it can be, but her attitude was unacceptable.

The waitress may have been having an off day but we had to repeatedly ask for things. And then shed bring the things we asked for multiple times, one by one... But, besides that the food was just "ok" I had a burrito bowl with shrimp and it had no flavor. Most of it consisted of black beans so that by the second half of the bowl I just felt and tasted like I was eating a can of black beans. I ordered an over priced taco on the side. The meat had a really weird taste to it. Id choose a taco bell over this place any day.

Picked up lunch last week. Food was great but a few other people were waiting when I arrived, and they said they had already been there for a bit. Waited another 5-10 before we finally got someone to get our orders and another 5-10 waiting for him to come back with them. Other than waiting for the order (placed beforehand online) the food was great and we will certainly be back.... Probably not for lunch time to-go though.

We have stopped in this location on the way home from work a few times. Today was such a day and the place was relatively empty. No hostess at station, we walked in bar area and sat in a one of the less dirty empty booths. One server and a bartender, the slowness of the service and lack of attention to cleanliness makes me wonder if the management cares? The food was average.

Stopped in for a bit to eat and this was a hopping place. They were very busy, but they were able to find a table for me since I did not want to sit at the bar. Service was a bit slow which might have been due to how busy they were. The food was not up to what I typically had at previous On the Boarders. I will say the Brownie with ice cream was very good.

My husband and I went there to have dinner. The food was very very good. Atmosphere was good. You can have all those things be great. But the topping is the waitress. Our waitress was Nicolette. She made it even better. She was very bubbly, sweet and so nice. She was available and speed with her orders. Again, it was a nice experience.

My FAVORITE place EEEEVVVVEEEERRRR!!! I love the chips n salsa and the house margaritas. Prices are very fair compared to other restaurants and Ive NEVER had a bad experience with the servers/ staff. I go every week for Taco Tuesdays and once in a while on a Saturday just to get out of the house I wouldnt change it for anything.

One of the few places left where the food and drinks are made the same each time you go there. You can tell they have actual cooks working there not just a bunch of wait staff making crappy food like some other places. I would highly recommend stopping by for a bite to eat or just some drinks.

This place definitely doesnt have "authentic" mexican food, but it is still really good. I LOVE their queso dip and their mixed drinks are yummy. I could just sit at the high tops and drink frozen margartias and chips and queso and have a good night with friends!

We ordered a to go enchilada family meal and a kids meal. The family meal included only 3 enchiladas and was served in the same size box as a kids meal. I have enjoyed eating at the restaurant in the past and had great service, but would not recommend takeout.

The food was just alright and that was the highlight of my visit. The service was terrible, I had to ask for a manager just to get my order correct. I had to go to the bar to get my soda refills. Restroom was dirty and barely stocked.

This restaurant is an excellent choice. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was very nice and the wait staff was professional, attentive and very friendly. Highly recommended, this is an excellent choice for fine Mexican Cuisine.

Name a restaurant where the "wait staff" cooks your meals.... typical customers that dont know anything. As long as they get their ten diet cola refills and greasy recooked food their content.
