I ate here a while back. They were reasonably priced, but they included hot peppers in my curry chicken that I couldnt handle, nor could my wife who is significantly more tolerant of heat than I am. Her curry, which didnt have the hot peppers, was quite good. Just be aware that the food here can be rather spicy, but you can ask them to keep it more mild. The portion size was worth the price for her meal, but certainly not mine since we had to toss it out (we took it to go shortly before closing).

We were getting tired of the Chinese food, italian, or subs for take-out which I usually pick up once a week. One night I decided to go to Simply Jerk because we like spicy seasoning and I passed it daily. Never having had Caribbean food we were WOWed at how delicious everything is! Jerk chicken is our fave....everything is always fresh and cooked well. Love the beef patties, which was definitely new to me. My guy on his way to pick up order now...lol...two times this week :)

This food was terrible. Ive had real jamaican food and Im Caribbean and this place is an imposter. The chicken was drive. The rice wasnt seasoned at all. The jerk sauce wasnt even jerk. The plantain seemed like something they bought premade. The whole meal wasnt warm which made everything WORSE. Only good thing about this place is that it was clean. And I can tell you from experience, Jamaican spots shouldnt be this clean if theyre any good.

This my Third time going and each time was different. 1st I got Roti each time and first time it was very large, second time small like half of the first, third large again. I order the curry chicken and forgot to say no vegs and my plate was full of vegetables and very little meat. Remember to say NO VEGGIES. for now I will just stick to ordering Roti only because that is really good.

Authentic caribbean food in central NJ! The service was grand and the food was divine. Being a vegan, I loved their vegetable medley with Organic protein which was textured tofu. And their patties are packets of joy! Simple straight forward menu with enough choices. Will be going back soon.

Went in for oxtails, but they said they dont make it. The food tastes delicious but the portion seems small. I ordered the jerk chicken meal (1/2 chicken breast, rice and peas, 2 slices of plantains, and a very small amount of steamed veggies) paid almost $10.

It was good, but they were out of a bunch of stuff at the start of the dinner rush. WTF?! Make enough food !!! We want to eat it! What we did have was delicious, though! For real. The curry chicken patty was divine.

I had the jerk shrimp. The shrimp was so overcooked it tasted like rubber bands. The rice and peas and the vegetables were perfect. The jerk sauce had a perfect balance of savory and spicy.

I ate here recently. I know jerk chicken well and what they served was not authentic. They just grilled chicken and slathered jerk sauce all over it. My food was inedible.
