GREAT sushi, especially when compared to what else is available locally. Atmosphere is pleasant when dining in.. and take out is always great, too. Ive ordered from here multiple times in the past few months as well as came in and dined. Everything is always fresh, delicious, and well priced. The fried green tea ice cream is awesome.. and the "honey cheese pot" (aka crab rangoons) are *spectacular*.. so much better than any run-of-the-mill Chinese food spot.. I dont even want them from anywhere else anymore; highly recommend. I love the california, philadelphia, and crunchy tuna rolls here, but everything Ive tried here is awesome. Took my kids (6, 7, and 11) and they really enjoyed eating at the booths and being able to take their shoes off.. and of course, eating with the kid/beginner friendly chop sticks. Got them chicken with broccoli that came with jasmine rice.. they loved it! I really cant say anything bad about this place.. its definitely worth taking a trip to! BYOB!

Ive only had sushi here but Ive eaten here plenty of times and never had a bad meal. The Sashimi is always fresh and Ive only been declined one time due to them running out of Spanish mackerel. I think Ive had at least 80% of the special rolls and they are presented beautifully and taste amazing. I highly recommend the Halloween roll and the volcano roll, also the pikachu roll just because its neat. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance with only oriental music playing. If you go with a group make sure you request the booth seats in the back. you have to take your shoes off and climb into them, makes for a new dining experience.

Weve eaten three times at kawa now. We can vouch only for the thai food, as weve only had the volcano rolls, (which were excellent). The pad thai is excellent with the lime poured over it. The Basil shrimp is some of the best that Ive had. The green and massaman curry are strong. The ambiance is good. The restaurant is clean. The cooks have been willing to make substitutions (tofu for chicken dishes), great for a vegetarian (watch out though, the fish/oyster sauce is in many dishes) Good Prices for what you get!

The food was good. green curry needed to be spicier but the lemongrass was just perfect! The Thai chicken and cashew nuts was also delicious. The portion of both dishes we found was a little small and the service wasnt rude or anything, but no offer to refill your green tea unless you ask. Not really attentive even than they have enough staff. Overall a good experience not great. I would come back and try more dishes.

The sushi is hands down amazing but the service is the complete opposite. I have been here for an hour and half and only ordered two sushi rolls, thats how slow my server is. Other servers keep coming to our table to ask us if we are okay. There are only two other couples here and the server is acting as is if the place was packed. Amazing sushi. Horrible service.

I usually order from them no problem, but I called to place an order for delivery and was told the delivery minimum was $30. When I reminded the lady that their website (and menu) says $20, she said "No, $30 because were busy". Stand by your menu and your product or dont bother having the disclaimer in the first place.

Food was well-seasoned and delicious with a black tea that was light, yet flavorful! The restaurant had a chill/relaxed ambiance, with an extensive menu and unique seating areas. It was a great experience and very economical to boot. Will visit again! A greay date night restaurant, in my opinion.

This is the best place to get sushi for 20 miles in any direction. Its not the best Ive had by any stretch of the imagination but lets get real. Were not in Philly, AC, or NYC. For South Jersey this is pretty darn good.

I was dissatisfied with the food. The rice tasted like minute rice and my tempura shrimp was less than satisfactory for a meal. Also the lettuce in my salad was brown when served. Not going to be returning.

Not great, we ordered food and asked for extra basil leaves (with additional charges), but the fried rice doesnt even contained basil! Except pad Thai, almost all the food taste we ordered wasnt good.

chicken was very good, but too much salt in the vegetables and didnt care for the soup or rice. Not a place I would go back too. Very pretty inside though.

Awesome sushi! Great service. Thai food ok - not as good as the sushi in our opinion. This is one of our regulars. Can BYOB too which is nice.
