Without any question the most terrible IHOP Ive ever eaten at. Ive been there a combined 5x and every time is more pathetic than the 1st. I go to several in Florida when I visit there because I have friends there. Theyve always given me military discounts (10% off) on a takeout or when I eat in and, though the 2 in Central Florida are extremely busy, they always give great service. Im astounded that you can get the great service we receive at a chain like IHOP. Up here in Mays Landing? Not-so-much. The last time I went there, about a week ago, I put a takeout order in and went in to pick it up and they said they never received a call for take-out. The same exact thing happened today and I said I spoke with "Bonnie" and they went and checked with her. I put my take-out order in at 12:02 and went to the store at 12:32 and it was not ready. I waited until 12:58 and it still wasnt ready. I was just about to walk out and the GM, Edgar Artieva, waived the receipt at me. He did not say it was ready he did not say anything he just waived the receipt. I dealt with him a month ago and he was not personable then either. On top of waiting for over an hour for 10 minute breakfast food, the scumbag Edgar Artieva (who can barely speak English by the way) refused to give me 10% military discount on a take-out. I dont care about the money, I always tip 25-35% and it would not have saved me much but it is just the principle. If they didnt offer it, I wouldnt care either but the fact that Ive received it everywhere else including there compounded my frustration so I just left. Ill never go to this IHOP and I will make sure every military member in the area knows how much of a scumbag that guy is and I will reach out to their corporate office.

TERRIBLE! The manager is very rude! I should have read the reviews before I ate in this restaurant. Our family is on vacation here in New Jersey and we went there yesterday with our relatives, expecting well be having a good meal. The manager was rude to my niece who was waiting to be seated, and when he saw me pushing a stroller with my sleeping baby in it, he rudely told me while waving his hand "No, no, no! No cart! Its not allowed inside!" I was so mad and embarrassed! I have never been treated like that. He could have at least talked to me nicely, and I would understand. The restaurant was not even half filled or occupied. Why would an umbrella stroller be a bother? And he saw the sleeping baby inside! We all went out, and he lost 9 customers that day (and maybe more)!

an old man went to every table where a kid was seated and asked the kid a series of questions. With every answer he said "are you lying to me, i will know if youre lying". He asked my 5 year old granddaughter if she smoked, if she drank, etc, etc. he must have asked about 10 questions including "wheres your dad?". I guess he thinks he is funny, none of us did. Then he proceeded to pass out his business card advertising his services for parties. The manager obviously knew he was there but didnt stop him. I have never seen this happen in any restaurant. Why is it happening here?

I was very disappointed when my son and I were turned away a full 40 minutes before the posted closing time by the manager who had decided to close early. IHOP is a national chain with a good reputation. The food and service are both excellent, but this unprofessional decision by manager Edgar Artieva ruined our evening. When the closing time on the door says 10:00pm, and we arrive at 9:20, we expect to be admitted and served. Several other people were also turned away, some who had arrived even earlier than we did.

Pros: Lots of parking and tables compared to other IHOPs. Friendly staff. Depending on what you order its hit or miss. Juices are great! Cons: Food is almost always served at room temperature and never hot. Have to wait too long for waiters/waitresses to get stuff for you because they are overworked and understaffed. If you order food thats a miss, youre not going to be happy. Id stay away from the dinner foods. Stick with breakfast foods here. Coffee is watered down and weak.

I wish it were no stars, walked in got seated, no one came and gave us service, no good afternoon, no coffee, no water, two couples walk straight in for got coffee, the manager acts she does no what going on and she stop at a table right be hind us, so when we finally got attention, there were nothing but excuses, all Im thinking about is ordering a bunch of food and walking out,

Good place for breakfast, the pancakes were alright but chewy. Their potatoes were also good but not the best. The waitresses are so nice and I would go back just because of them. The day I went was on a Thursday around 11 in the morning and it was packed with people.

We went here cause kids eat free on Fridays, when I went to pay they charged me for my daughters meal cause it wasnt off the kids meal, the Waiter didnt even tell me it had to be off the kids meal , IHOP needs to make it clear when people come in there!

I thought this place was just fine. A little skeptical after reading the reviews but it turned out fine. Its just like any other IHOP, busy and crowded. Personally I dont come for the small town feeling. Just need some eggs and pancakes.

The atmosphere is nice. Our waitress, whom weve had before was very sweet and attentive! My food was very good but my friend did not eat her crepes she said they were rubbery. But they were kind enough to remove it from our bill!

Oh Wow, Ive havent been here since like the first week of Dec 2016! So apparently 1 or 2weeks later they gave the how place a face lift/remodeled it & it looks Nice!! & the staff is very polite & responsive to ur needs!!

Oddly shaped place, feels crowded constantly. Have to go behind the divide to get to the bathroom. Staff is generally friendly, but always in a hurry. Loud, sound carries. Pretty fast service, food standard.

This is the place to be for breakfast, lunch is also served, but as I said the magic happens in the breakfast, lots of options, great service, good location.
