The service was very nice and the food was great. Our food was taking a while to get to us, so I guess our server mentioned it to her manager. The manager came over and apologized, and asked if we needed anything while we waited for food. As a sidenote, we never complained about having to wait. We never even mentioned anything about having to wait. They kept checking up on us, and the manager brought over our food when it was ready. It was absolutely delicious. They offered us dessert, which we declined. When we asked for our check, the manager came over and said our meal was covered. We expected maybe a discount or something, but would have never guessed they would cover our entire meal. We will definitely be going back to this Olive Garden again.

Show up, said there was a 15 mintue wait. Were were like ok. Wound up being 30 mintues. Went in side to see what was going on. Found out they were calling names instead of using the call button thing they give you. Also realized they now take call ahead seatting. Which was not advertise or on website. Person of my party arugued with the manager because 2 groups of people came in after us had used call ahead and was seated before us. Even at the table the Manger gave excuses about the call ahead and said she was making flyers! Really? Ahe gave us a free appetizer which we werent going to order, but took it anyway. Our server chad was great. He turned the bad experience into a good one. Dont think ill be going there for a long time.

I agree with NJTrailRider-- the Mays Landing Olive Garden is underwhelming, at best. The servers weve encountered would make better bartenders, frankly-- good at flirting and small talk, and good at taking a quick, easy order. But once dinners start being ordered, be prepared for unprofessional, sloppy service and salty, over-processed food. Even the salad and breadsticks-- once my favorite-- are no good here. And dont even think about ordering a capuccino! Go to Maurizios or Maplewood, instead.

Pleasantly surprised; this Olive Garden was clean and was decorated beautifully. Food was delicious and service was prompt. The childrens menu selections were spot on; offering: entree + fruit or vegetable as a side, and a souvenir cup of milk. The stickers and crayons were a nice touch. The portable computer systems were quite confusing. Do I order my appetizer from the computer and not my entree? We had to pay using the hand held device.

Weve tried this place several times, Service is extremely poor. Last time there we sat and waited 10 minutes and no one came to greet us, take a drink order, anything. there was a waiter attending to another large group in our little room, and he totally ignored us. We finally got up and walked out. My opinion is they have enough of a steady stream of business, they dont care if youre happy or not, the next guy is coming in the door. Sad.

Worst restaurant in south Jersey. I hate going to this place due to the poor service. Last night I had to eat my pasta with a spoon because the waitress decided to deliver the food and disappear for 30 minutes. Just came back at the end to ask about desserts. Never refilled our drinks or breadsticks, which is the only good thing at this place. Do yourself a favor and help a local Italian restaurant with your business, you cant go wrong.

Waitress kept forgetting to bring things back to table. Drinks no straw, Ask for more bread took her so long to bring back to table. We had to chase her down to get her attention. Manager came to the table and we asked him could we get boxes to put her food in. She never came back to the table. And plus we left for $10 tip. Even though we shouldnt have. People come to restaurants and get served not to get poor service.

Your typical Olive Garden chain Italian restaurant. It is especially well-run. They have all you can eat salad or all you can eat soup with entrees. It is a large restaurant broken into smaller rooms which gives it a small, intimate feel despite its size. I enjoy sitting at the tables in the bar area for a romantic date with my wife. Their fried calamari is especially good: very lightly breaded and flash fried.

Nice looking restaurant. But the food isnt good. The breadsticks are too salty and the bottoms are covered in flour. I ordered the "tour of Italy". The chicken parm was too oily and kind of overcooked. The pasta was way too buttery and the lasagna is really greasy and tastes bad. Im very disappointed. Giving this two stars because I thought the staff was nice.

I had a mediocre experience at this specific Olive Garden. Ive been to others and enjoyed myself thoroughly. The service was pretty bad phone the week staff. Also the food was just okay. I had breadsticks , minestrone soup, meatballs and spaghetti. I didnt enjoy the meatballs and spaghetti but the rest was okay.

Ive eaten in many Italian eateries, expensive and inexpensive and Olive Garden is at the top. You never get a bad meal here. Its always looked down on because its a chain but its the best food at a great price. I guess Im not the only one that thinks this way cause theres always a wait to eat at dinner time.

Had a decent family dinner here. They do a good job in addressing our sons gluten free diet. Not home made Italian but offer some interesting options that are tasty. Remember you get entrees come with bread sticks and sour or salad when ordering appetizers.

Food is always good, hit or miss on service. Manager was very nice after seating us in a separate room with a birthday party of 12 people, we had to listen to a loud group while we tried to enjoy our own birthday. Gave our daughter free cake for her birthday.

Everything youd expect from an Olive Garden. I have nothing against the restuarant chain itself, but there are too many genuine Italian restaurants in South Jersey to justify going to Olive Garden for Italian cuisine.

This olive garden was the worst olive garden i have ever been to. I had chunks of letuce for a salad. The breadsticks had no taste and my boyfriends food was cold! Definitely never going to this olive garden again!!!

Eaten here 3 times in the past 3 months. Always very happy with the service and the food. We usually avoid chain restaurants, but kudos to the management team and staff...almost feels like a family owned place!
