Mezza Luna is a little bipolar - both sides in a good way! The restaurant is neatly tucked toward the back of a fairly stereotypical suburban shopping center. Follow the sounds of music broadcasting, and the diner is given a choice - right, into a fashionable and contemporary dining room, or left into a nicely appointed casual area for pizza slices, etc. Even the casual side is tiled and a definite cut above the stereotypical "New Jersey Strip Mall Pizza Joint". There are a wide variety of gourmet pies available, including a Salad slice, BBQ, Broccoli, and others. We tried a traditional Sicilian slice, for many places they provide a Sicilian pie out of obligation but dont put a lot of effort forth, leaving this a weak spot on the menu. Not true, here, as it was hefty and thick, yet with a light, airy texture and a fresh, tangy sauce with notes of garlic and spices. We also tried a Chicken Parm slice, this was HUGE, yet tasty, it actually tasted like a good chicken Parm! Mezza Luna offer a new "super thin" pie that we wanted to try. This, probably a nod to a famous family-owned place the next town south. To be fair, it was disappointing, the crust tasteless and a bit dry, the tangy tomato sauce and cheese with a nice bite werent enough to overcome the crust. Stick with the traditional pizza offerings, and youll be quite pleased. Cant wait to visit one evening, and try the more formal side and recipes. See you there!

I recently had a bridal shower for my niece and catered the luncheon from Mezza Luna. Not only was the food very reasonably price it was delicious with light cuisine and presented especially beautifully. The food was delivered on time and at just the right temperature. I would highly recommend Mezza Luna for any occasion. Thank you Anthony!

Dont be fooled by the good reviews. This is a glorified pizzeria. Chicken was tough. Tomato sauce was so acidic it could eat through the plate. The restroom was practically IN the kitchen. They should have invested the money spent on tile on a cooking class for the chef. Its over priced and underwhelming.

The food we ordered was delicious and for the price the portions are enough for more than one meal! We have been there before when it was crowded, but this time the place was rather quiet and the service was a little disappointing. Thats the only reason for a 4 out of 5 stars.

This is my go-to-place for pizza. The weekly special Mon. Tues & Wed of a pie at $7.99 is outstanding and perfect for my family. Service is friendly and attentive. Carry out orders are ready when promised. Dinning in experience is pleasant always.

Casual pizza/pasta family-owned restaurant. This place is great to dine-in or for take out! They sometimes even have coupons in the township coupon clipper magazine. Their chicken parm, penne vodka, and chicken marsala are always on point!! :)

Veal Saltambocca was disappointing. Veal was too thin, overlooked and chewy. Carrots were practically raw. Stay with pasta dishes or pizza. Salad w/ blue cheese was very good.

Hi, Have ordered Veggie pizza and Tuna salad on 09/19/14. The pizza was good and the Salad was not satisfied as the tuna quantity was very less which dissatisfied.
