This review is not to harm the owners ( Ty & Cynthia ), I am a longer time customer ( St. George ) . I had to walk out of your restaurant after ordering (via-cell) 45 minutes before I arrived. It was chaotic as the manager and the surrounding young kids (waiters) appeared to be lost. The young girl who took my order over the phone was no doubt , incompetent. The manager openly complained to the young woman that she could not read the orders she had taken. When I inquired about my order to the manager , I was told that it would be out in a minute. It was 20 minutes later of waiting , as I inquired again as a number of other people was waiting for their order. I was advised again,by your manager that it would be out and for the fourth time asking for my name. I told her that I had given her my name a number of times . That only meant that she had never taken the time to acknowledge my order if she wanted to know what I had ordered . It also meant that she never had my order and if she had , she had no idea where it was or if it was taken. It was a Sunday and Ty , you were sitting at a table with other people. I did not want to approach you, because they had nothing to do with the situation that you should have been aware of at any time. I do not make it my business to complain , this is to put you on notice , because I sincerely want my Brother and Sister to remain in business. I never received my order , as I walked out the door. Loyal customer/ please take notice.

The owner of this restaurant runs this place on lies. Cynthia is her name, and she is very dishonest. I would not recommend Beyond the C Seafood Restaurant in Linden, NJ to anyone. My family hosted a birthday dinner over there and prior had paid the owner to provide us buffet services, however when we arrived there were only 3 entrees present and we were short of drinks. Cynthia was very unwelcoming, rude, ruffled with our guest and disrupted our event. She kept on asserting she was an attorney (for fear that we were going to sue her ) In the end, guest were displeased and everybody wanted to leave. Please dont go there. Invest your money in some other restaurant where youll be treated with respect and get your moneys worth.

First of all, I dont even know how this place calls itself a restaurant. This place is a dump. We went there for a "sunday buffet", and I put it in quotes, because I dont consider 5 trays of food on burners a "buffet". The 15.99 Sunday buffet consisted of only 5-7 food options. The macaroni and cheese wasnt bad, the yams were cold! and the fried fish ...was all fried batter and no fish! BTW, the fried fish was extra, it wasnt included in the "buffet". And yes I said 15.99! The nerve of them to charge this much for a terrible selection in their buffet and for such a hole in the wall. Dont waste your time or money.

I wish I could give them 1/2 of a star. The most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I called to place an order and from the very beginning, the lady had an attitude. It took us 20 minutes to get there and when we got there, they had not even started to prepare our food. At first they said they never put our order through, then they all of a sudden found the ticket. When they finally prepared it, they did not have any of the sides that we ordered left. We called 40 minutes ahead!!!!! You did not tell me that when I placed the order. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!!

I ordered a whiting fish dinner with potato salad and candied yams to go. The fish was greasy, probably because the grease wasnt hot enough and the juice from the yams soaked the bottom pieces of fish thoroughly. The cornbread was half done with a greasy layer on the bottom that the counterperson said was butter. they put the potato salad in the same Styrofoam tray with the hot food so the salad was warm. ugh! The potato salad didnt have any eggs in it that I could taste. Poor quality food that Ill never subject myself to again!

Didnt even get a chance to eat. We were excited to try this restaurant for the first time based on the reviews we read. The website states breakfast buffet every Saturday from 10-2pm. That was completely wrong. We arrived at 11:30 and when we walked in i had to ask if it was open because we were looked at as if we shouldnt have been there. The lady that was supposed to seat us was rude and at that point we decided to leave. Not a place we want to spend our money.

This place is great! Picked up my Dad from the airport then came here. This place is very clean, nice jazz music in the background. The owner and waitress were very nice. We awere stuffed and ordered more food for tomorrow. Only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because the cornbread was ok...overall 4 stars

I heard everyone talking about how good the food was here, so I gave it a try. The MAC and cheese was like KFCs, the cornbread was burnt on the bottom and the chicken was average. Would have returned it but it was a takeout order and I dont live close by, so check your food if you do takeout.

Since moving there location their service has declined. The food tastes good, however their customer service is much slower the wait time is much longer, and they often forget the order and the price they quote over the phone isnt the same when you pick it up.

Savannahs catered my daughters Sweet 16 party on December 17, 2016 and the food was absolutely delicious...everyone was ranting and raving over it..we had Ribs, meatballs, yams, string beans, Corn bread and tossed salad..Thank you Tyquan for your service...

I have waited for an hour. Was told each time I asked about my food "give it another 15-20 mins". I can understand its busy but give me a correct time frame so I dont keep coming back. Had to cancel the order. I refuse to wait any longer.

Wanted to dine in but the gnats changed my mind and I decided to take my food to go. Waited 40 mins just to be told they were out of greens and would have to wait another 20 mins for another side. SMH! I will NOT visit this place again.

Food is Delicious! Definitely authentic down south Country Food(which I miss it living in NY now)! Some of the Best Sweet Tea Ive ever had!
