In my opinion, there is literally no other Chinese take-out in Hunterdon or Warren worth going to than Lo-Fatt-Chow. My husband and I tried the take-out for dinner on our way home from, of all places, Crown Veterinary Clinic where we had taken our dog to be looked at for a leg injury. We were STARVING, needed somewhere close but on the way home (West on 78), and, after the vet bill, not too expensive. We saw good reviews and chose Lo-Fatt-Chow. This place is great, and not in a "this-place-is-great-for-a-Chinese-food-take-out-compared-to-other-Chinese-food-you-get-all-over" - its just great food. I kept it simple because I have low expectations. I ordered pork fried rice, an egg roll and egg drop soup. The pork fried rice is amazing! I would go there just for that. Get this - its not a wet mess drowned in soy sauce per the usual Chinese take-out. Its actually white, fried rice that is crisp and tasty with vegetables that have flavors you can distinguish from the rest of the flavors in the dish! What a concept! The egg drop soup was just the right consistency and the egg roll was perfectly done, not the usual deep fried Chinese version of a corn dog. Im glad its on my husbands way home from work so we can pick it up. I am disappointed I didnt know about until just a week ago. Highly recommended!

I tried it yesterday. The food wasnt greasy like the typical chinese take out were used to. It also wasnt very salty. You can add if you like but I prefer the lower sodium choice. I like having a healthier alternative to satisfy the chinese take out craving. Ive avoided it for years but now theres a good choice. Ill be going back again.

Bad business. Ran by a child. Got my order wrong and when I called from home they insisted that I yank the remaining food off my familys dinner table to exchange the same night. Would not simply correct the missing order. Plus, the flavors of their food change all the time... Inconsistent food.

Pleasantly surprised that the food for the most part was rather tasty. The sauce was light but still flavorful. We got a shrimp dish and a chicken dish. Both were amazing. I mainly went for crab rangoon and that was a little bland but overall I really liked the place and the food!

The owner/cashier/order taker - is extremely rude (lady) with a nazi soup guy attitude. The food is so-so, very bland, and no that great. The Hunan Wok in Shoprite/Walmart plaza is about 1000 times better in terms of quality as compared to here. I would never visit this place again.
