Stopped going to Perkins years ago because the owner was obnoxious and the food went really really down hill and we got tired of dealing with the flies.Friends said it was redone and we should give it another try. So, we went, the first time it was good, the second time it was ok but the flies were back on the glass mirrors in the rear of the place, the waitress was nasty and didnt speak english therefore our order was completely incorrect. We also waited in excess of 30 minutes. This last time took the cake, went in having a business meeting ( 3 people in a large booth in back room) shortly after they begin setting tables up for a large party. Asked them, is it going to get loud because we have an important meeting and if so we will move. No, the response was they wont be coming for an hour or so. PS. 30 minutes later a pile of people come in, obnoxious and loud yapping away with 6 kids screaming. One of the women actually SAT in our booth while she let other people get by her. It was insane. Our waitress was NO where to be found and the other waitress was totally disgusted. Finally I got up and found our waitress and asked like what is happening with this, they are literally sitting in our booth and screaming and yelling. She apologizes and gets the manager. The manager then comes and says whats the problem? ( The problem is evident) and then all these people are saying Hello to the manager....so ok now i get it. So we leave in the middle of breakfast , complain to the owner who states " I am the owner, everyone who comes in here deserves the same treatment...now pay your bill" Ok? So then dont i deserve the same treatment? Do I deserve to be sat on and have this total disruption of MY breakfast and meeting? I think not. I told him i wont be back and he said Thats your choice....Nice attitude....How about, Im sorry that this happened, we should have perhaps sat that party somewhere else? How about Im sorry your breakfast got disrupted. The owner is obnoxious, always was, always will be and the food is still less than par and the pancakes are awful. I will go back to the Perkins in Colts Neck, which by the way is fabulous. The food is much much better and the owner and staff are very professional and courteous to ALL their patrons and they work to resolve issues as they arise. They dont kick people out the door because they have others coming in.VERY POOR business practice and it is no great loss to me because the FOOD STINKS.

We visited on Mother’s Day at 9:00 am so keep that in mind.. The store manager was fantastic. He took our name for the waiting list and we had a comfortable table in the “sun room” within a very reasonable amount of time. Staff was very friendly and helpful but somewhat overwhelmed with the volume. Food was warm and reasonably well prepared with one exception. Perkins once made excellent French Toast on French Bread. Apparently that is no longer available and the thick French Toast was literally inedible. The color was an unnatural orange color on the outside and pure white on the inside. It is hard for me to believe there was any egg in whatever they dipped the bread in. And trust me, it was a really quick dip. Stick to the pancakes which everyone else seemed to enjoy.

I will no longer think about going to Perkins, everyone always told me how great it was so I decided to go down there one day with my friend. The waitress took about 10 min to realize we were there, then took our order then a couple min later we started to eat. The food was horrible, the hash browns were hard, the waitress never came back to ask if everything was ok. We saw her take care of other people and stay and talk to them. 30 min past and she never came back after dropping off the food, we got up to speak to the manager he didnt do anything just gave us our checks and sent us somewhere else to pay. Worst place ever.

I usually have a great experience from this Perkins however this Sunday was terrible, the kitchen was back up which took 45 min to get our order served to us. Once the food came it was lukewarm, my eggs were so running it was unsafe to eat. When the waitress asked how was it is explained and showed her the eggs she simply said sorry. No let me take it off the bill, no can I get you something else to replace your disgusting breakfast. I wont say I will never come back but definitely not on a Sunday between 11-2, they obviously cannot handle the success of being busy.

RECEIVED A DRINK IN A PAPER CUP TO START.TOOK FOREVER TO GET FOOD.NEVER DID GET MY GRANDSONS FRUIT CUP. ORDERED CHOC CHIP PANCAKES .NEVER GOT ANY PANCAKES.THAN GOT PLAIN PCAKES.WHEN TOLD THEY SHOULD BE CHOC CHIP WAITRESS OFFERED TO BRING A HANDFUL OF COLD CHOC CHIPS TO THROW ON TOP. WHEN WE SAID NO WE WANTED CHOC CHIP PANCAKES WAS GIVEN A CHOC CHIP MUFFIN.THE PANCAKES CAME OUT GUESS WHAT ? BLUEBERRY.LOL PERKINS OF FREEHOLD WHAT HAPPEN TO YOU?

Just walked out!! I used to love perkins but as i was patiently waiting for my food i noticed two, possibly three waitresses taking food off plates and putting them on our plates!! I dont mind waiting for food if its busy. Im fine with that but thats just disgusting!!!! They were speechless when i called them on it! I will never go to perkins ever again!!!

I went to this particular Perkins on December 27th 2016 around 8:00 pm. I ordered a cheeseburger and later on I got a chocolate milkshake it was all good until I was halfway done with it. I found a piece of hair that got sucked up the straw!! I did not finish my shake that night! The cheeseburger was good though... hopefully that was clean as well... : (

Food is prepared adequately, its like roulette with the service however. Come randomly a few times and you might get an attentive server. There is better value down the road at Park Nine Diner, go there unless youve got coupons for Perkins.

The first thing I noticed was the friendly faces and the bright environment. The food was fantastic and I definitely plan on coming back for more. You should definitely stop in when youre looking for a good meal and great people.

Pretty good but fruite flys all over the place and food can come a little quicker because when there was 2 people in the resturant...it took 25 mins for a person to take our drink orders a little unprofessional in my opinuon.

Ive going to this particular restaurant with my parents and sister every Sunday since I was seven years old. Now I do the same thing with my husband and two sons. I love the food, the staff, and the owners! I love this place!

Waitresses are not taught well because you have to let them know when you need a refill instead of them watching you and checking on you. All ip north are all raised soooo different. Yout lucky if you find a nice person

Food good quick service. Great muffins and pies tho For about a year + it seems they had a flood or water damage because it smells musty in there. They need to replace carpet. It could be harboring mold.
