There are many reasons to praise Ibbys: The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the people are always friendly. The first time I ever stepped foot inside Ibbys, my family and I were greeted with a smile by the man behind the counter. "First time here?" he said. "Take a menu. Let me know if you have any questions." At the time, I was unfamiliar with falafel but this welcoming attitude put me right at ease. If youve never ate at a Falafel restaurant before and feel a bit intimidated, Ibbys makes it easy. Ive been back at least a dozen times since that time and absolutely love the place. Eating at Ibbys is my idea of the Perfect Lunch (Ive eaten there several times for dinner, as well). Everything Ive tried there has been amazing. I never knew hummus could be so rich and tasty until I ate at Ibbys. I recommend the "Ibbys Sampler" platter for a good variety of all things Ibbys.

I work in Freehold and have started eating at Ibbys at least once a week -- sometimes more. The food is fresh, delicious, well priced and extremely filling. Im not a vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination, but I would be more than happy to eat nothing but their falafel every day! If you are in the mood for meat, the Ibbys Combo falafel sandwich with lamb is amazing. If youve never tried falafel (or any other middle eastern food), do what I did and definitely swing by Ibbys and ask the friendly staff for recommendations. Dont forget to hit the ATM though, cash only!

If you live in Monmouth County, you do not have many options for Falafel, or any middle eastern food. I stummbled across this place recently, almost by accident, and thank G-d I did. The food is very fresh, delicious, and the staff is very friendly. It is not fancy- think "Mamouns" in the Village. Now when I get a craving for falafel, I do not have to drive into Manhattan. Ibby is a very comparable replacement. I just hope they stay in business, as it has only been open for a year. If they do not make it in Freehold Borough, it will not be because of the food- trust me.

The food is incredible! There is nothing else to really say. I honestly dream about the food, that is how friggin awesome it is! And I am a white girl, so I never ate Syrian food in my life until I found Ibbys. Now it is all I can eat. My favorite is the Falafel and Swarma pita. And there is this AMAZING sauce they put in the pita that I can not even describe how good it is. Their lentil soup is one of my favorites as well. Everything I have ever had there has been fantastic... Even their iced tea is unique and tasty. <3 that place!

Highly recommended for a quick, Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food fix: the falafel sandwiches, chicken kabobs, Greek salads, and desserts are all fantastic. The guys who work there are very friendly and like to chat a bit with the regulars. Its basically a fast-food restaurant, so there isnt much atmosphere there, but it is clean and comfortable for a short meal.

This location is now known as "Main Street Falafel". Best falafel around! Such good flavor. I come here all the time and get falafel sandwiches and grape leaves. Great combination and always VERY fresh! Falafel is made to order and the owner/staff are always friendly and laughing. Gotta love it!

It is obvious that this place is cutting corners to save money. The fattoush salad had almost no lemon juice, seasoning or mint. It also contained olives and dill pickles which is very unusual and was mostly lettuce. They also give half of a pita for the shawarma sandwiches.

Ibbys is no more it is now something else. Do not get any food after 6 PM, the meat is not being cooked, The guy cuts the meat off and cooks on the stove in a metal container. It tastes horrible. Please bring the owners back!!!

Pretty sure this place used to be called Ibbys but either way its the best falafel and schwarma in NJ. Try the vegan rice pudding made with coconut milk if they havent sold out. Every time I eat here I know I can die happy.

Love Ibbys Falafel! I always get the falafel and baba ghanoush platter and the special iced tea. It is consistently fresh and delicious! Very casual place - go there for the tasty food - you wont be disappointed.

Im no expert in falafel eating, but this place is better than the other place I used to get falafels from. Much larger menu as well. Food was great. Place was clean. Fast, in and out place for a quick meal.

Very good authentic food. A little bit overpriced and more of a fast food or takeout food. Good service and good food, simple as that.
