Used these guys for catering - holy smokes was it worth it!! We catered an event of about 250 people, and I ordered samosas as an appetizer, chicken tikka masala, paneer mutter, goat curry, nans, pulav rice as the main course, and gulab jamun for dessert. I placed the order with Sunny, and he maintained communication with me throughout the week. Food was delivered earlier than required, and was well packaged. First and foremost, the quality of the food was top notch. Our church has been using a few vendors now for food, and this was the first time weve changed it up. The people were pleasantly surprised, and we received many inquiries about the meal. And almost as important - the quantity of the food was abundant. There were leftovers for each dish (and more than enough people volunteering to take home the precious remains). The samosas where huge, crisp and delicious. They packed well so none got crushed. The chicken tikka had plenty of chicken, same with the lamb. Delicious and abundant. The gulab jam were large, and the best ive had at any restaurant. Most importantly they were hand hand made at the shop (I specifically checked for this - cant stand it when I order dessert form a restaurant and get canned garbage). Would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Talk to Sunny. He may cut you a deal if youre nice. Seems to be an all around kind guy.

Horrible food. We went with kids for dinner, order from the menu. Chicken Biryani , chicken Tikka masala, Chicken 65, Nanas , desert. His definition of chicken biryani is, take the regular biryani add cooked chicken (non marinated ) to it. If you want little spice spray chilli powder on that. Disgusting explanation by the owner . When I told him on his face the biryani was not good he was saying and how to make it, He replies I know you eat the same biryani for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I dont even think that is the way to speak to customer and after giving little more inputs, he accepted his biryani is not the best. I never encourage you to go there, If you really want to eat biryani or chicken dishes. Chicken starters were not good, tikka masasal was okay. Nans were good, desert - Kulfi,, this might have been brought from Indian groceary freezer, worst. He should watch videos how to make. Owner response is arrogant and not ready to take feedback. If you really want try biryanai (Hyderabad biryani - from my knowledge Nizams started the biryani culture, that is what you should try to appreciate) you decide to visit or not. All the best. Oak tree Rd, Jersey City Newark Ave are the other places you can try for the good authentic indian style food.

Just went here last night and the food was great! Weve been searching for good Indian food within a 20 mile range of this area and finally found one worth returning to. My family of four loved it. The curry chicken, (eaten by my 8 year old), was tender, flavourful and delicious. My husband had the goat Khadhai and the same went for his. I had vegetarian - Aloo Ghobi and it was flavorful and delicious as well. My youngest had rice and a Mango lassi and he was pleased. The Naan and Aloo Paratha were good of course. The somosas tasted fresh, but were a bit on the spicy side. The staff was polite, and handsome. Only downside is the seating could have been more comfortable. But overall, delicious!

love, but their desserts, usually out of half of them, are super yummy, but really super sweet. (Update: The owner contacted me after this review and not only thanked me, but eased off the sweetness! Now, desserts are perfect!) Friendly and available on grubhub (and they deliver!) If they were to change anything, I wish there were soups. especially sambal (sort of soup) and idli (yummy puffed rice disks) but I think thats more Southern Indian cuisine (more vegetarian) and I think they specialise in Northern.

i took a friend of mine for a birthday dinner and had a delicious meal. The tandoori chicken on a sizzling tray was absolutely mouth watering, not over done with the masalas. And, biryani was to die for. After the bill was presented, I realized that we ordered the kabobs during their Happy Hour and were 25% off, Yayyyy!!! The restaurant is small yet cozy. Service is extremely friendly. If you get a chance, check them out on Tuesdays --- Kabob Happy Hour!

If you ever have a craving for delicious Indian food, go here! Masala kitchen express is the place for catering, take out, and dine in. A little hard to find (the plaza right before the costco) but so worth it. I have ordered from here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The owners genuinely care about your experience and I hear they have an amazing lunch buffet as well. The best place to get Indian food in this area by far!

Food was average. Service ok. However, the ethics of the management not so trustworthy. I called them today, Friday and asked them the price for the buffet. I was told it is $9.95 only. when i went there, i was surprised to see the price as $12.95. I dont mind the $3, but why lie. Can he not have mentioned the price of weekend? Cheap ethics. Need to learn some morals and ethics.

I am very disappointed with this restaurant. Cheating seems to be their modus-operandi. They bill for stuff that you didnt order. They tell you something else on the phone and deliver something much less. Completely unhappy and would recommend people to stay away from this place.

I actually just got back from india and can attest that this food is amazing. I was specifically impressed by the tandoori chicken, which were perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. Also got a chance to speak with the owner and he seems like a fantastic guy.

Paneer Tawa Masala $10.95 Cubes of cheese sauteed with onion, peppers and a special sauce. Served with rice, two sides and naan. I only got rice---no naan and no sides.... worst customer service and food was not even worth trying.

The food was OK at best. Malai kofta was strongly flavored and not in a good way. Definitely better choices around the area. On the plus side, lots of rice and a free naan.
