I have been a customer of Windy Brow for over ten years. They have the best selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, in addition to hosting a variety of sweet treats and cider drinks. It wasnt until last year that I realized they started to make in-house breads Friday-Sunday. After experimenting with their selection, I grew incredibly fond of the focaccia bread with cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and herbs. It was the best bread they sold. It wasnt until the start of this summer season that they started to add cheese to their focaccia breads. I am severely lactose intolerant, so I am unable to consume any type of dairy product. Knowing this, I made it a point to specifically ask if the tomato focaccia breads they had available were made with cheese when I called to reserve my breads this morning. I was told by the person I spoke to who took my order that the one focaccia bread left did not have cheese. I then requested that they held that focaccia bread, in addition to a sourdough loaf, so that I could pick it up later in the morning. After I picked up the breads and returned home, I realized that the focaccia bread I reserved, was in fact, covered in feta cheese. To say that I am extremely disappointed in an understatement. I was unable to enjoy any of the bread and it ultimately was a waste of my money and time. If I had an allergy, I would have become extremely sick from even a bite of this bread. This kind of carelessness and lack of quality control is not something I would have EVER expected out of this business. Its safe to say that after this experience, I will not be ordering their breads again. I will only return for their produce and ciders. I highly recommend that anyone with dairy sensitivities and/or allergies consider a different bakery and/or farm to get their breads.

There are no step stools to get you back onto the wagon when your in the field. The driver offered no help what so ever and could not have cared less. My family has gone to this orchard for years and was horrified at how we were treated and by someone i have seen as a steady employee. My mother is a sweet well kept little old lady who had no problem getting onto the wagon at the level pick up site, how ever in the top field there was an almost 2 foot gap from the ground to the ladder steps of the wagon. If it had not been for the people in the wagon i would never have gotten my mom back in the wagon. It was very embarrasing for her especially when i asked the driver for a stool or box any thing to give her some height. Or perhaps move the wagon a couple of feet out of the hole he pulled into. He was an older man who looked at me said no and looked away. Just one step stool in the tractor would have been a great help. For this reason and this employee who is always there . we have not and will not return there again. There are a lot of farms and orchards to choose from in our area. Mr and mrs hunt take note i cant be the only customer to have this issue. Set up a level spot to load and unload your patrons or loose more of us.

We went here to apple pick and the apple selection was quite lacking. They had some interestingly flavored ice cream and their donuts were good however, the donut ordering process was out of control. You had to stand in the general line, to get the front and be told to instead form a "donut line" which was more or less a congregation of people standing around. Then you would all scramble for donuts when they came out. Why they werent able to do a "first come first serve, wait over there til it comes out" type deal is beyond me.

My family and I went for the apple festival, and it was a good experience. A decent twist was purchasing the bag/container for the amount of apples you wanted verses picking and coming back to have it weighed. The apple orchard was well labeled and the smallest bag of apples has yielded an apple a day for a week plus an apple pie and some spare! I highly recommend this for a family outing.

If youve never been to Windy Brow, youre missing a great experience...I find it hard to stay away.....of course I have my favorites the gooseberry jam,the mango/lime sorbet and now the large selection of breads (baked on premises)...today as a last minute weakness ,I decided to try a peach/blueberry pastry.....Jake hit the mark on them!!!!...I will be going back very soon....

Went to the ice cream festival. Very friendly staff, great ice cream, but I dont think they anticipated this many people to attend. Organization is poor. The space is small and the lines were stretching out to the road. Lots of people with little kids; with cars pulling in and out for parking, and the lines so close to the road, not exactly safe.

We absolutely, positively love this farm!!!!! From the peaches in the summer to the apples in the fall, we are pretty much here every single weekend during their harvest seasons. The produce we get from the farm is always just awesome. The homemade ice cream and other goods, such as the apple cider donuts, are fantastic as well!!!

Scam Alert - We drove an hour and a half for the promise of a ice cream festival, a festival is multi vendors with other activates. This was the one buss selling mediocre ice cream, waited an hour on line for ice cream, nothing else to do there. That is NOT a festival. SCAM to get people to come.

We went for their peach festival and it was a disorganized mess. Granted we showed up for the start at noon but it seemed like no one knew what was going on or what was to be happening. It got a lot of publicity from the NJ Herald but they just werent ready.

Last week we bought one of their home made peach pies. We finished it in one day. Absolutely delicious. Not too sweet, peaches were cooked just right, crust was sumptuous. Were going back today to buy 2 more before the peach festival tomorrow.

Some animals for the kids to look at. Great place to bring the kids for apple picking including a hay ride to the far side of the orchard.
