by Burkey - May 23, 2010 My wife and I ate here for the first time on Sat, 5/22/2010. My wife commented that her striped bass platter was delicious. My lamb platter was great as well. The presentation of each meal was excellent. We only seek restaurants that serve pastured beef and chicken as well as all organic. When you consider how much more a restaurant of this standard pays for its food from the local farmers where it is purchased you can appreciate that they may have to charge a little more than other restaurants. We also have gluten issues with our diet and we will not consume anything made with canola oil or soy oil because of what we have read. In short we probably drove our waiter, Abbas, nuts. But he was wonderful. With each request he would go back and forth to the chef if he wasnt certain and in the end we had a positively memorable meal served just the way we could enjoy it most. To The Brothers Moon...I say well done.

My family dined at the Brothers Moon and had a pleasant experience. Four of us ordered the salmon dish with risotto, and it was delicious! My brother ordered the filet mignon and also enjoyed his meal. Yes, the prices are high, but not out of this world. The service is good. I dont like being overwhelmed by waiters/waitresses who come by every few minutes. I will dine there again, probably for a special occasion since I cant afford to eat out often at such establishments!

Spring has sprung here! Fabulous asparagus salmon soup yesterday. One of those Holy Cow moments: every ingredient in that soup vivid yet nuanced and so beautifully balanced in texture and taste. I know it reads silly, but I swear I swear it was remarkable. Today Im working off a chicken, ramp, shiitake cheddar quiche that I bought on the way out. Same: Ill be damned. It sounded vaguely pedestrian and it is glorious

The meal was wonderful, the food deserves 5 stars. Our waiter this evening was unhappy with my 16% tip and let me know it. He came back to the table to express his disappointment. I asked him if I had insulted him and he said the minimum acceptable tip was 18% and 20% is what he expected. My wife and I were beyond shocked. He ruined our experience. This was our first time and most likely we wont be back.

Chef Wills food is delicious, creative and has consistently beat all my expectations. This restaurant is a go-to restaurant that offers a changing menu made with locally-sourced ingredients coupled with the inventiveness of a chef that is clearly comfortable in his own skin. The originality of the cuisine and attentive service will keep you coming back.

Dined here for the first time tonight. Lovely little place. Good food, attentive service, reasonable prices. We were a party of 3. The restaurant was very patient with us because we were talking a lot, catching up after a long time. The staff was so gracious and attentive, but gave us our space too. Also, nice neighborhood. :)

The food was very good. The service for our table for 2 was a little slow. It is a nice quiet place to dine. Dessert was excellent too. Leave room for it. Pictured is the Robin fish dish, a tart with onion jam, shrimp risotto with asparagus. Lemon and coconut cake with caramelized pineapple for dessert. All delicious.

Get ready for the heat-lamp special, because the wait staff is atrocious. The food is good, but if I have to wait 43 MINUTES IN AN EMPTY RESTAURANT for a breakfast sandwich and pancakes, its no longer worth the trip. The food isnt THAT good where a long wait time is justified... They just have terrible, awful service.

Had a wonderful experience with family. Service was top shelf, food was outstanding! 5 stars from me! Thank you staff for the wonderful experience, and thank the mushroom guy for teaching us a little about mushrooms. We will be back for the full meal deal on another Wednesday night for sure!

The food was excellent. We visit this restaurant frequently. Last night the service was slow and inattentive. When I asked for a little more water and attention I was greeted with sarcasm. Not what I expected.

SO and I went here looking for a quiet and quality date night. Very pleased with our experience. Service was great only to be outmatched by the tasty food. I got the local trout and it was cooked to perfection.

Wonderful place for a date night, great atmosphere and service. I had the most outrageous lasagna of my life. The food here is always delicious. Chef Wil is doing it right. He truly a food artist.

Fantastic food and run by a real local. Dine in or get something for takeaway. I love the chicken on the croissant at and extra special low price.

Love this place, creative and delicious food at this BYOB. And reasonable prices. Love what they do with mushrooms, the chef is an expert.

I wish they had a vegan dessert option! Our party of three stopped by for baked goods/dessert to find that none of the options were vegan.
